Actually, that was great! It reminded me of hanging out on the weekend in the living room, patio, or basement, listening to music, having a drink, and chopping it up about life. Of course, they stopped it a bit early - maybe because they have to make service in the morning, like our parents did.
Just kidding...sort of...You know she did! The show had up to 715,000 listeners at one point, but it went down a bit when that song came on. Maybe some people left for a minute to get their fuck on, and the single women excused themselves to rub one out!

That shit was amazing. They affirmed each other. Showed mad love and respect to each other on a personal level, as well as their art. Just goes to show, fuck a fad. Make good music. Make good art. Whatever moves you. Both of their catalogs have aged WELL.

I like the fact that they affirmed each other. Why do we have to have the "___ vs. ___" format anyway? Do we need any more antagonism? Let's just enjoy what each artist produces and end it at that.

Yeah she talented as fuck and can really sing/vibe/scat her ass off but all the goofy ass antics, crazy fucking clothes and just plain old dumb shit that comes out her mouth is a real turn off from her music. It was her music that drew people in but all the extra to be extra shit and these crazy ass interviews she does is killing her vibe. Go back and look at her interviews/music when she first came out, she let the music do the talking, Now she sounds like she wanna be high spouting some imbecilic fortune cookies wisdom and her music is TRASH (the new stuff). I been to a few EB concerts and when she singing she be on her shit and can't be touched but in betweeen when she starts talking, you be like, Yooooo WTF are you talking about.. Just sing and shut the fuck up.

We know both JS and EB got talent, no doubt and at times occupy the same space but in the end, its about the music and I'd have to go with JS because she's more consistent with her music whereas EB be on some "weirdo extra shit". Listen to EB last three albums and then listen to her first three albums and you can clearly understand what I'm saying.
JS albums have consistently gotten better because its clearly she's learning her craft in a much more meaningful way. JS understands, its all about the music.

i'm in the opposite. i like badu music more. i like jill but after the 1st album i wasn't crazy about the rest.
Man, to maintain that many people with the bandwidth required would have cost upwards of a million fuckin dollars just for that short session.
