I watched that and I agree with cube to a point. When you're a founding member of a group called Nigga's with Attitude I don't know how you can lecture anybody about the use of the so called N word. No one rap group has made the word Nigga more popular in white suburban culture than NWA did in the late 80s and 90s. NWA was a gateway drug of sorts to the genre of Gangsta Rap which as music often does breaks down racial and social barriers. Just like Rock & Roll did in the mid 20th Century and Jazz in the early 20th Century. IMHO it's too late to put the Genie back in the Bottle. I watched a fight on YouTube that involved nothing but young white folks and the "N" word started flying. No black folks anywhere around.

WE didn't invent the word but it was made a part of pop vernacular; following our historical lead in shaping the direction of popular culture at large.
However despite all that, it remains one of those CATCH 22 situations life in America presents:
ALL NON-BLACK PEOPLE run the risk of:
-ass-whoopin'
-loss of income/employment (when caught on camera, in certain situations)
-arrest (when caught on camera, in certain situations)
-death (say it around the wrong one at the wrong time)
if they use the N word in ANY VARIATION.
Plain & simple.
The sooner they learn that, the better for them.

If you run a search on documented white supremacist groups, you might be surprised how many are in the southern NJ and Pennsylvania area.

This is cac logic... Not calling either of you a cac but the logic used to rationalize your stance is cac based. It ignores the importance of context and intent. Context and intent are foundational principles in the communication of any language. This basic fact is understood and accepted in almost every instance of life except when white folk want to justify some depraved shit they say or do.

Oh I know. Plus I was in the military up there and had a bunch of white dudes in my units. They let slip some of their racism every now and then but luckily since I had rank, I didn't hear too much. Western Penn is a hotbed for it. There were areas in NJ I was afraid of driving through and getting lost in at night, especially in the Southern parts and up north near the NY border.
