I haven't watched football in years but pleasantly surprised at the rise of the Black QB. I'm old enough to have experienced the joy of seeing Vince Evans, Doug Williams and Randal Cunningham. I remember racist CACs saying that we could only be running QBs and had to rely on athletic ability because we didn't have the mind to be starters on winning dominant teams. I don't take for granted how far we have come. I think the Coaching position is next. The changes at the Collegiate level will benefit coaches who can connect with players because players are no longer "stuck" and beholden to the coaches.

Yep. I was a major Raiders fan who had season tickets and never missed a game. IMO Terrell Pryor could have been an NFL starter at QB but he didn't get the support and forced to switch to WR.

Yeah as a little kid I remember Randal Cunningham, Warren Moon and others like Rodney Pete but they were never considered the best.

The difference is that Blacks finally got the opportunity to play QB in little league and not forced to play other positions just because they were athletic

black quarterbacks is a fairly new thing..b4 2000 it probably less than 10 qbs that had started that was black… so in the past 25 yrs more black qbs finally started getting playing time.. giants had Eli manning for a 16 yr period( 2004-2019).. so 67 percent of the time was occupied by one person.. since than 2 black qbs have started on the giants.. the facts nobody likes to talk about
