Engagement rings revisited...

I would never say no to the ring (or to his proposal). Hoping that he knows my style enough to know what I would like... or at least ask my mom or sister for help...

But you don't think that a man thinks long and hard before investing in that ring and proposing? Isn't it a big deal?

He does think long and hard before buying and proposing..... But it's not about what type of ring to buy, the cut, clarity, and carat is not something we dwell on. We put all of our emotion and thinking into answering"are we ready to be with just this one girl forever?" that's what is going through our minds. During that we could give a damn about what type of ring to buy.

You'd buy your OWN wedding set? WOW.

I got to go with Onyx on this one; why can't the woman pay for it? There are some men I know though that don't want it that way for whatever reason  but as long as the reason behind getting the ring is solid it shouldn't matter who bought it or how big it is or what it look like...unless there is just something you want (Onyx you specific as hell )

My man know if he bring me yellow gold we gonna fight :hmm: That shit can be sterling silver, but yellow or rose gold - he better bring shoes...lots of shoes

Glad to know that there are a few women left in America that aren't materialistic, self centered cunts.

Lots of shoes huh? Hope they don't consist of those cheap ass walmart flip flops that are popular with the women, yet annoying as hell (because there are a lot women that need to keep their feet covered at all times!!!)
