Agree with everything you've said but to me him doing it would be in line with the characteristics he's demonstrated in the last few years.
Maybe I've judged him too harshly but for me it wouldn't be surprising at all.
As you've said if he's ill I wish him the best and maybe he can speak on how avoiding the doctor and ER could have cost him his life since it's a real issue within our community.
