When Chazz Palminteri and Robert De Niro had trouble finding a suitable actor to portray Lucchese associate Ed "Eddie Mush" Montanaro for A Bronx Tale, Robert asked Chazz if he could find the real Eddie Mush to play himself. Chazz lost contact with Eddie Mush in 1973. But he found him in the same neighborhood in the Bronx, and still losing bets. Eddie Mush was 63 at the time.
