He was making several million dollars per film in the 80s .. those were dollars that were obviously paying the bills… at least 1 million for Beverly Hills cop.. 8 million for Beverly Hills cop 2.. 8 million plus 15 percent from rentals for coming to America.. 1 million from trading places… adjusted for inflation in 2025 8 million would be worth over 24 million.. he was making 4,500 per episode for sat nite live and quickly jumped up to 30,000 per episode in the early 80s…so he was already getting to the money… most people would never say nutty professor is their fave film or top 3.. coming to America, raw were easily better.. some people wouldn’t even call nutty professor their fave film in the 90s.. boomerang kicks that fat bastard to the side..
