There are countries where cancer is almost non existent like Cape Verde and Gambia. I was talking to this dude from Dubai and he told me that it's rare that people in his country have cancer. So, how is it people in places like the US have so much of cancer? If cancer is hereditary here why isn't it in these other countries with low rates of cancer?

It happens. I know from personal experience of a family member. My stepmother passed away a couple months ago of melanoma. She was diagnosed 5 years ago at stage 4 without any outwardly symptoms. There was literally nothing wrong with the surface of her skin. She found out about her cancer after going to her doctor to check out shoulder pain that she had been experiencing for a few months prior. She knew from her family history the dangers of too much sun exposure and skin cancer, so she would get physicals every year and have her skin checked for abnormalities, and or didn't matter.
The US allows a lot of chemicals in our food and health/beauty products that are outlawed in other countries. Congress in general, lobbyists and the GOP in particular, do everything they can to make the FDA and EPA as useless and powerless as possible. Elections matter.
