If people want relationships that's good on them. Those who don't, that should be good on them too.

But instead we try to treat relationships like there's some sort of prize. A competition that every man woman and child should be hell bent on winning even when it doesn't make sense.

I mean look at the title of this thread. Ebony k Williams wants to bag a high value man. It's the same way rednecks talk about hunting deer.

In reality, being in a relationship is like being openly gay. Both are lifestyle choices. Neither are inherently good or bad. It all depends on how you conduct and carry yourself. Just as important are the standards you set for what you will or won't accept.

I actually agree with this. My thing is... Stand on it. Don't want it one way when the rains are plentiful, then another way when shit dries up. Make the decision with your eyes open and accept the reality on the backside. All I'm saying. Yes people are allowed to grow and mature. But the great revelation can't always be once you're over the hill and can't pull em like you used to. That goes for both sexes, but men don't usually crap out at the same clip that women do because a man shelf life tends to be longer.
