This is a pyramid scheme man! Oldest trick in the book, and very common in the Negro community. I've seen dozens of these when I was in college in ATL, they all the same. Come to a meeting so they can tell you how your gonna be able to quit your job if you pay a fee and then get other people to pay fee. It's all good until you run out of idiots to join or the feds kick in the door, then the last suckers in are the one's holding the loss.

Furthermore, when you have a really good money-making scheme, you don't tell the world about it. I messed up like that a couple years ago when I came on this board and started talking shit about Tax Sales. Man, cats on this board damn near ran me outta business! Never again... :lol:

Sounds a lot like this Pre Paid Legal bullshit my homeboy keeps trying to convince me to join. Sometimes the last thing you want to tell a brother is that you're entrepreneurial because next thing you know they are trying to convince you to join some scammy MLM company.

I keep trying to steer him away from PPL and over to more legitimate business ventures but I swear we can't go 5 minutes into a conversation without him prostelyzing about how rich he's going to become and blah blah blah. One night I had him go ahead and tell me what the "compensation plan" was like, dude tells me it would only take 10 minutes. 30 minutes into the presentation I STILL didn't understand what the fuck he was talking about. But i do know that the diagram he had me draw looked just like a fucking PYRAMID by the time he was through.

I swear these companies are like cults and he's one of those religious cats so he's obviously susceptible to a lot of bullshit if it's said in a motivating fashion.
