You'd rather those crackers have the power? Like him or not, you gotta respect the hustle.
See, the problem is, you can look at it THAT way, but I don't. Not primarily, anyway.
On one hand, Lebron did take the power away from CAC's ...
...but that ain't why he did it. He did, it 'cause the criticism was becoming too much, so he figured he'd set the game on easy, and win, as he said, "Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7, not 8.."
People attributed the 'exercising his power' element to it, but all that ever came out of Lebron's mouth was how much he and his teammates would dominate. Then on his return to Cleveland, he got Wiggins out of town, so he could get another third All-Star in Love.
When I used to play ball, I HATED dudes who only wanted to play if they could be on the guaranteed winner. I wanted a team that could compete, not just run through everybody. That is personally repulsive. I can't speak for everyone else, tho'.
Lebron is the least competitive legend I've seen to date. Dude has had his heart and killer's instinct questioned A LOT throughout his career. That is usually not something that is ever questioned if it is a very pronounced trait in you.
People have made excuses for this guy his entire career.
Yes, he's great. I'm not denying that. He's a great team leader. People clearly love to play with him. Maybe the greatest athlete in NBA history. He's in my personal top 10 all time, and I don't even LIKE him as a basketball player. I acknowledge greatness, tho'.
If you prefer to see Lebron's moves from that standpoint, thats cool.
I see a dude so scared of competition that he didn't even want to enter the dunk contest, despite saying he WOULD on TV. Yet, he could do dunk contest style dunks in practice all the time, during that time period?
