Dunkirk (2017) First Official Trailer - Christopher Nolan Movie

An absolute waste of money and resources.

Move on. How about at least doing a good Vietnam movie

I won't watch it even when it become available via download
I'll treat it like I treat those ghost monster chef movies that somehow always get funded and made

i'm surprise the trailer didn't show a kid going to the store to buy orange juice..than have the kid leave the store and juss showing him walk away..than put dunkirk at the end.. still won't ever forget that fucking first interstellar trailer where they show that nig driving on the barn and juss put interstellar at the end like yeah most useless trailer ever

Ain't about him it's about the subject.
That's why it's a waste.
You do inception and interstellar then go to a straight up ww2 movie?
To join the other 85 that'll be out next year?
Spend 4 years making a movie about something else! Anything
If he had a new movie out about antique roadshow I'd watch it over a ww2 movie
i don't see the problem here, he can make whatever movie he wants ?

I've noticed that he does one movie for the studio and leverages it to then make an original movie he really wants to make

So for every batman we got Prestige, Inception and Interstellar - I know we'll be getting something good later for this nostalgia flik

That's my only point.
I'll skip this
And catch the original that I like from him

Hans Zimmer can't even get all jiggy with this soundtrack like he did with inception and interstellar

For the fam' in Canada ...

It is nothing but revisionist history, that will try to make
heros of losers. The bullshit movie seems set to belie
the brilliance of the German Army of 1940...The English
and their allies were trapped on the beach, with Guderian
and Rommel ready to end their miserable lives, when
military jealousies seemed to take over...Hitler was
convinced by someone, or his own stupidity, to halt
the tanks... Then along came the inept Herman Goering
who declared that his planes could finish off the 340 000
men trapped by the tanks on the beaches... The English
escaped, and some have speculated that Hitler allow this
to happen so that he could strike a peace treaty with them

I have said that I was raised in the house of
a military officer. My brother went to military
school in the UK, to one of those Nato training
schools, where among his classmates, were
Germans.. The German despised English military
training, and my brother tells me to this day, that
they often would say "Major...., if you want to
learn real war, come to a Germany military academy,
and we will teach you real war, instead of this
bullshit..."

man, I like nolan's movies but does he always have to use the same cast. I like Hardy too, but I swear i saw like the other guy from the dark night and maybe some other actors. I guess it makes his job easier.
