Actually Male pattern baldness can come from either parent. So if Baldness is on either side you are at risk.
It's not that big of a deal. You can shave your head and own it or if you can afford it you can spend money for the rest of your days and keep your hair or supplement it. For me I just kept a buzz cut until it made no sense to and now I just shave it off. I look at it as money in the bank.
