On the topic of the seat here's my take.

Everybody has rules in their home, some may make sense to you, and some may not, but the fact is if you are a guest you follow the rules of the house (When in Rome....).

Now if the seating arrangement is such that there is a head chair and you don't live there, are not a close friend, or have been told to sit in that particular sit then simply sit yo ass somewhere else.

I don't have a lot of guest in my crib because I'm not the overly social type (I keep my network small) but when I do I want my guest to be comfortable. By the same token, just as a guest should expect me to be a gracious host, I expect my guest to be a respectful guest.

If you don't know the rules of my house on a particular issue/subject then learn them. If you cannot abide by the rules of my house then get the fuck on, simple as that.

If I would have walked into the room and dude when have been in a seat designated as mine I would have been like, "say bruh move a couple seats over".

He doesn't know the rules of my house so it would be looked upon as an unintentional but by me speaking on it he would realize there are rules for everyone to follow. No harm, no foul.

FWIW I grew up in a single parent home but this isn't about single parent households, this is about basic respect, either you get it or you don't.

To me, the head seats in my house are wherever me and my girl sit our asses at the time. We could sit on the flooor and we'd still King and Queen in our crib. So ol' boy siting in that seat wouldn't have been a big deal to me.
