I think he was involved with the labels before and had some friends in the industry. He was involved with some rapper as his manager...name escapes me...but they had a fall out.
He always pretended like the podcast wasn't him and would say "hey check out this dudes show".
As far being in the industry he really wasnt..he had a crew called A5 and ab soul was fucking with the!m but left. The other artist was Snake Hollywood and he works at Costco now.
