I can understand both sides of the argument. That said, Democrats messaging to condemn the "Weak 8" and that repubs actually own their insurance going up is critical as hell now. Their main core has to show they are still fighters and distance themselves from the 8.
The light will be brighter when the repubs ultimately decline to expand the credits and folks will return to being pissed off at the republican lawmakers. Also, if this is the pill that gets Schumer out then that's fine by me because this sits squarely at his feet by not making the weak one's stand with the collective.
