You don't know ALL or MOST single black mothers in your city, your state, your county, nor in the world to make that claim. If I said most, I didn't mean it that way. But most of the black single mothers I know were never married. Most of the black woman I know who have children we're never married
There is a place that exists outside of my sphere of knowledge where happy and healthy black family relationships exist, but from the people I've met in my life it doesn't exist near me
The people I know and grew up with, friends I went to HighSchool with, my Facebook friends and all of that largely consist of multiple times single mothers
Yes, there are some that we're married or married their first or second baby's father. Even if that ended in divorce they at least tried the marriage thing.
My mother and father were married when all three of us were born. But my father was abusive so when I was 8 years old, my sister 12 how about my brother 6, my parents divorced.
I've stated before that single motherhood is an emergency situation. If you have to leave because of abuse or failure to get and maintain a job or for any other tangible reason you at least tried to do it the right way. To be out here just fucking men as if there's no consequence or you don't comprehend how babies are made is wrong
