Drake caps back at Pusha T

this is the precision response...

no subliminal STRAIGHT name calling all DIRECT HITS and responded to EVERYTHING he said in that interview...

hell he even mentioned Push's brother...

and he didn't even go HEAVY

THAT is why it is so effective and impressive.

Push only had like ONE bar in the ACTUAL song.

and another thing...

this is history repeating itself

how the 6 god running the same pick and roll and these fools falling for it every time?
Aubrey didn't really say nothing though. He said the same shit he says on every record. Talks about how Pusha ain't really sell as much as Escobar and all that shit. There is nothing creative about this record at all. No clever punchlines....no metaphors...its just a regular Drake song that we been hearing for the past year.

And the fact Pusha dropped one bar and got Aubrey to respond gives Pusha the win. He mentions a line about Quentin and it was on Aubrey's mind so heavy he had to respond less than 24 hours....not only that but he does it on the day Pusha releases his album. W for Pusha.

I disagree completely with you but I understand TOTALLY what you saying

and Drake not only plays by them...he creating them now.

Push better come back with the 10,000 PSI slap.

How you get that out of that? How about respecting the culture? Drake defended his riches, made response, and people gobbled up like bitches.

The nerve the audacity? Is he serious? Sure, he has a right to defend his forutne. But FOH, you went to Houston to learn the culture.
Learned his swag from Memphis and H-Town.

And I'm not even a huge Drake fan but that shit was straight fire!
What is clever about saying there's no malice in your heart? Shit we've heard Pusha himself use that line.

I'm listening to it again......The song is good. But its not a good diss record. Its light. Man i'm sorry man i'm not even a elitist hip hop fan but shit I feel like these new rappers done clouded the game and got us thinking any time someone rhymes its dope. This shit is light. I just don't hear the lines you guys are hearing...maybe y'all can highlight them for me?

Drake is tired of getting picked on, because he knows that's his legacy now.

he had a couple of creative punchlines, but some corny shit too. Like the top five at your label one. Who believes that? It sounds nice, but only the 20 year old girls believe that shit.

The Quentin Miller shit was real corny. So you're doing charity? And because he can't make his own hits it's cool?

"You act like you sold drugs for Escobar in da 80's"

Pretty good, especially the drug kingpin line
Drake will drop a track like this spittin then drop a whole 17 song love album singing and shit. Nigga makes me mad with that shit
He makes music for whites and humans with vaginas, dude gives 2 fucks about pleasing hard core hip hop heads. But what he does is drop tracks like this to show he still has it

Nicki and Remy had better dis records.
He didn't say much. It's no Hit em Up, Takeover or even Ether. Won't be remembered when people talk about best dis tracks.

I feel the same way........its all just...."light" to keep it 100. Not even on no Aubrey hate. I'm gonna be one of the first ones to listen to Scorpion.....but its lazy and he's reaching. Top 5 at his label? Who better than Pusha on GOOD? Designer? Kanye? Big Sean? He needs to stop.

Man maybe this what i'm falling victim of. Growing up on hearing shit like Takeover and Ether.........maybe I should dumb my taste down and maybe I can hear the greatness of this record.........

Nah, it's just nothing. It's not creative. Jay, nas, big, pac, beans, jada, cube, ll, canibus.... They were creative, lyrically. Drake is medicore. His lyrics are not memorable. His beats are more memorable than his lyrics.

I mean it's no Ether but goddamn there are some killer lines there..... I don't know man, I love the Clipse and you have to know the history a bit to hear the shots there. Like that "no Malice" line was hot because Malice goes by "No Malice" now and is a Jesus freak and Aubrey is clowning Push for being a fake gangsta at the same time.. . Dude also basically insinuated Geezy, Malice and their cuzzo were heavier in the drug game too which is a popular rumor out there. "You don't rap what you did you just rap what you knew"

The line about clout chasing was kind of cold too 'you older than the nigga you runnin behind' (Kanye).... the Cruel Summer line... the "you not even top 5 as far as your label talent goes".... man it's like 20 other lines I'm forgetting right now

This nigga sent shots fuck what you heard

which is why i don't understand why drake don't spit more... instead if that sing song shit

Naw I know the history which is why i'm saying that No Malice line is light. And the "you not top 5 as far as your label talent goes".....we know that's bullshit.

I don't even remember it, and I actually liked Meek before social media took control of him.
