i am kinda new to dbz...i started watching it about a year ago
i didnt watch the series leading up to kai with young goku...just picked up at the sayian invasion (thinking the very beginning of kai)
i heard of buu...i also heard the movie was trash (it already came out?)...did u see it? what did you think?
Well....looks like I will have to check the movie out!
After finishing kia there are so many unanswered questions..
1. In episode 98 how is trunks fightin cell when gohan killed him in the past. Also why are the andriods fucking shit up? I thought they were good now
2. In episode 98 trunks is avenging all of his friends. How did they all die?? Especially vegeta...gohan and piccalo
3. For a show called dragon balls they don't use them very often...how come none of the z ighters wish for more strengh or enternal life...at the very least how come they didn't use a wish to lower cells strengh or something
4. So dende is the new kami...why didn't he just bring the namecian dragon balls and use those...shamrom seems like he sucks a little bit
5. No one ever explained how or why trunks is more powerful than vegeta...goku and gohan...it doesn't appear he can transform past just regular super sayian...how come he was able to defeat frieza and his dad so easily?

The Garlic arc was fucking trash...I couldnt even watch them....
1. Trunks killed the cell from his own timeline. Trunks timeline is different and separate from the regular z fighters timeline.
2. They were all killed by the andriods, who in trunks timeline were evil.
3. They cant wish for more power because they are already far stronger than the person who created the dragon so he cant give a more powerful being than him more power. The wishes cannot surpass the power of the person who created the dragon.. They never ask for eternal life cause most of the time they need to use the balls to bring people that died back to life cause some evil asshole killed them.

5. Simple, trunks had a higher power level than frieza did, do to the constant battles he had with the andriods in his alternate timeline. Also Vegeta and gohan werent even able to become super saiyajins at the time so it was obvious why trunks was stronger. But Goku was stronger than trunks, did you miss the part where trunks challenged him and goku was blocking all his sword attacks with his finger?

Haha yes I did watch the show....most of it was highly edited tho...only unedited shows I've seen are the episodes with the fat andriod and dr. Greo...if u know a place where I can find unedited episodes please share
Maybe I'm highly confused with the concept of time travel....I assumed that events in gokus time would affect trunks future....if they killed cell in the past how is he able to be alive in the future? Vegeta was supposed to be killed by one of the andriods and that didn't happen which I'm sure should have had some type of effect on the future...also due to gohans fight with cell he became the strongest being in the universe....how did the andriods kill him and they were supposed to be weaker per trunks
Regarding the dragon balls...so since dende created them they can wish for anything beyond his strenth? That shit is lame! They shoulda made piccalo unmerge with the grand elders old security guy and have him be the new kami....earth dragon balls aren't worth shit

Think of it like when trunks went into the past he also went to another alternate reality where things were similiar but different. like goku got his heart disease much later than he did in trunks timeline, three androids instead of two and they were much stronger than they were in his reality. No matter what happend in this alternate reality, trunks original one was still fucked up by the androids.
Also while trunks said the andiods in his reality were weaker than the ones in the z fighters reality, they were still very much stronger than him. Oh and gohan of trunks reality never fought cell, cause andoids came first and he got killed by em.
and once namekians merge with someone they cant unmerge.

why would trunks go back in time if what he did had no effect to the future?
technically there was 4 androids...not 3...and only reason homeboy with the red mohawk (#16 i think) was activated was because #17 and #18 turned on the doctor
because of trunks vegeta and goku lived...but that appears to have no effect on trunks reality...it was like he never left...only thing he was able to do was to stop cell from going back in time machine (which he should have never been alive then anyways if he died in the past)
and with #17 and #18...i thought they would be friendly...especially since krillin liked one of them and even used a wish on one of them
trunks said that things he has done in the past have had effects on the present...why not the future too??

the source that i found said it wont come out until march of 2013. i saw something about a movie on the main board however i dont think its the same.
the series with young goku is dragonball. next came dragonball z. dragonball z kai is just an edited version of dragonball z. i dont wont to spoil it for you but if you watch the buu story not only will you see baby trunks as a young kid but see one of the mosr emotional moments in the series. my main problem with kai was it seemed to edit out the more powerful moments of the series.

Wasn't there an Android with dr. Gero when the z fighters first met them? I think vegeta
ripped his arms off....that makes 4 andriods....but had 17 and 18 not activate 16 there would have been just 3

truthfully if youve seen one youve seen them all. they all have the same formula and they dont fit well into the normal series. then again i guess db as a whole uses the same formula.
i always thought they should have stuck with the idea of gohan being the main character especially since unlike most of the z fighters he never really enjoyed fighting. they could have also focused on the fact that vegeta may have been a better parent than goku as another reason for gohans lack of love for becoming a better fighter if its not to protect.

Good movie, kinda weird why they never explained why the main villian looks exactly like goku for some reason. I guess his twin brother or something

As always listen to the japanese version cause the dub has shitty rock bands singing over scenes
DBK is a remake of DBZ and based more on the manga rather the animation company. This is why you see no filler arcs and the episode is cut in half.
The cell saga was intended to be the end all saga but due to the popularity they created one more saga which is why you see SS3 levels and higher.
The movies create many plot holes and kinda don't make sense but are good regardless.
GT is a waste of time...after the baby saga it just went down hill lol.
But its good to see a female interested in the show...

Well I finally finished the kid buy saga
Now I'm even more mad on how the cell saga ended lol....
U mean to tell me future trunks couldn't handle a few andriods after that battle with all the buus Where was gotenks lol
I ended up liking good buu.....he was so cute...."me gonna make u dead" and his friendship with Mr Satan was cute and funny.
Now that I finished the series I guess I should start on the movies. Any suggestions on which one to watch first

Future trunks wasnt in the buu saga, he went back to the future after the cell game.
