dragon ball super hour special: goku vs jiren (limit breaker goku)

he can't achieve limit breaker for the same reason why goku can't create a spirit bomb

Dude, he's going to go Ultra Omen without the spirit bomb.
He does it fighting merged Kale Caulifa when he can't beat them in Red or Blue. He runs out of energy again and android 17 and 18 save him. I know my DBZ bro

So the hot new rumor is that vegeta has already achieved ultra instinct, or some level of power beyond ss blue/kk 100...

These internet nerds are bringing up intersting points. There are 2 that really are head scratchers.

1. Vegeta is freakishly calm, especially after witnessing Goku attain ultra instinct. Think back to every time Goku attained some new power level and right there is a HIGHLY PISSED Vegeta. This time he's calm as ever. When Goku is UI, everybody else is saying how they can't even see Goku or his movements, but Vegeta says he can see it clearly. And he's inquisitive about Goku achieving this vs jealous. Goku has always been one step ahead of him, so it's like he assumed Goku knew what he was doing and he wanted answers because he didn't understand.

Plus, factor in Whis telling him if he ever learned to control his ki he'd be as strong, or stronger than Goku.

2. Vegeta admits defeat. When he know the person he going up against is stronger than him he'll go into this long drawn out speech internalizing his defeat but still wanting to fight on. He just saw Jiren defeat Goku in UI and he's still ready to go at Jiren's neck like he ain't shit.

It's like he is DEFINITELY hiding something...

I think Vegeta has a fully mastered version of Blue. That form is complete God ki control.

you're jumping the gun. that's all skepticism at this point, no confirmation.

Follow Geekdom or Herms 98. They show the scans from Japan and translate them.
Goku is going UI then will run out of juice, Universe 6 or 2 is going bye bye too. Then Universe 4 is going to attack

that doesn't mean anything he's the same as goku in blue.

I don't think so. Vegeta was pissed when Goku used Kaio ken against Hit. Since then he powered up past Goku when they fought Goku Black. The 2nd time he blew up the room of spirit and time he was calm as fuck, and isn't doing the "normal" Vegeta shit, getting pissed and cursing Kakarot. Goku had to use Kaio ken to damage Toppo, Vegeta didn't. He's not at full power. if I'm wrong, then Toriyama really does hate Vegeta like he said in interviews.

toriyama hates vegeta.

The power scaling is all over the place in this series, so comparing their respective fights with Toppo may not really be the best way to prove your theory.

I doubt it will happen but I'd rather see Gohan or Vegeta be the hero this time around.

In my opinion Gohan should have been fighting Kefla. The story would have made a lot more sense that way considering Goku' s supposed stamina issues.

Vegeta will always be 2nd best to Goku, always! It's revenge of the nerd and goofy. Why is Vegeta so popular anyways, he never wins anything, all attitude but no substance.

i think they are saving gohan and frieza for the 2 mystery opponents from universe 4

Could be but overall the tournament of power has been a disappointment.

Yu Yu Hakusho had the best tournament arc of any anime I can remember off hand. Even though Yusuke was the strongest, the rest of the team still had good fights and their opponents didn't feel like a bunch of throw away fighters. I can't say that I care about most of the fighters in Super or the rest of universe 7 for that matter.

At this point, I'm just watching to see how it all ends.

He's popular because his struggle is relatable to fans. Goku doesn't try and gets the win (all with that goofy smile on his face), while Vegeta works hard and doesn't get the big win.

Like I said before, Goku is the John Cena of the Manga world.

Like, how he killed Frieza, but was on that bullshit to make Goku get the win.

No way,in hell,Goku should be struggling against two people that just learned how to go SS.....

And,what's up with making Cabba so dayum weak. You would think,he would be stronger than Caulifla and Kale, since Champa brought him along in the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament.

Vegeta is definitely holding back that is why he keeps dropping is guard with Toppo. Because he can afford to do it. Whis trained him to control is KI which is God level. Getting stronger is one thing, but having control of your KI is what matters, this is why Jiren is meditating to balance out his KI from his fight with Goku. Jiren exhausted his KI with that fight, that is why he attacks and defends with just his eyes and will, because he has mastered his own KI. Whis has been dropping knowledge bombs this whole time.

Caba is basically a stand in for Vegeta's little brother. I don't like how the girls passed him so quickly, but it seems that they all have high base forms and just never learned that transformation is possible. Anyway, Blue Goku should have whooped female Brolly (Caulifa) ass with the quickness. Power scaling is pure shit right now.

To me, Cabba is treated the same as Gohan. He doesn't seem to have the normal desire to fight and win like the other saiyans similar to Gohan. So he has the potential to be stronger, but he'll never get there without a push. I don't think it was needed but at least Frieza went Golden to get him out of the tournament. Didn't make sense but hey.

Because he is the ultimate 2nd chance/fiddle guy. Plus he has evolved now, because he fights for Bulma and his child.

Universe 4 is going bye bye, Piccolo is going to fall off the stage and it looks like Vegeta is going to take on Jiren in episode 122

Was fucked up how they did Champa

Finally caught up on the shows. Last I seen was episode 119 where the rest at?

I swear I want to slap the creator in the fucking face how they do Vegeta. :smh:

It's annoying.

No matter how much work he puts in he is never close to Goku.

Vegeta is the black man of DBZSuper

I'm at the point where I just accept that everybody will get a power up other than Vegeta.

You had three kids learn SS and one of them learned how to transformed to SS2 very quickly.

I'm still baffled, how they let Piccolo lose to a fucking bug this past week though.

come on now besides ultra Instinct, Vegeta is right up there with Goku. The exception is Goku has more tricks up his sleeves like kaioken and instant transmission.

True. Goku had more teachers while Vegeta thugged it out on his own but he met Whis.

A tiny ass one at that. Bullshit!

They got Kale and Caulifa powerin up and all a sudden their fighting skill is on the same level as Gokus and can match his god form even tho he been training for years.

Shit is not consistent at all. I wish the writers stop. I get all hype for DBZ and they pull the same bullshit everytime.

And thats what everyone is upset with. Goku trains and gets new tricks and tips and special moves Vegeta does the same and only his power level goes up. He hasnt developed any new special moves.

Thats the difference between the two characters. Vegeta is more powerful imo, Vegeta is self trained genius that has been fighting his whole life while growing up being Frieza's bitch. Goku on the other hand if it wasnt for all the special training he has got he wouldn't stand a chance

But how that's not conveyed on screen is the problem. Those differences are never performed to show the yin/yang of Goku and Vegeta.
All we see is Goku getting better in each episode in all the big battles fighting all the notable opponents. Vegeta never gets a chance to show how powerful he is in comparison to Goku.

It's done so often it's a common trope of DBZ.

What they make Vegeta to be in the series.

Even going back as far as DBZ, it bothered me how hard Vegeta worked compared to everyone else, but seems to always get the short end of the stick in terms of progress.

I get that Goku is the golden-boy, but it is really annoying how they treat Vegeta.

Vegeta has the royal blood, and works harder than ANYBODY and that ain't enough? Stop.
