I like to get paid for my work.
Trust I get it its hard to explain because we live in a society now with fake both sides opinions when both sides aint playing by the same rules.
I don’t believe in celebrating anyone’s death and I mean that. But I also think it’s important not to rewrite who someone was. King, Evers, Hampton spoke out to build equality and dignity for everyone. Kirk’s rhetoric was different — it was divisive and rooted in racism. I don’t think we should mourn that man as if he were a hero, because his legacy didn’t uplift humanity. It was poison.
Of course you have the RIGHT to spew it. But im not obligated to respect it. Especially when I was the target.
I don't fault anyone who celebrates his death. The same argument they use in defense of him "freedom of speech" can be used for the ones who celebrates. Kirk's exploitation of weak minded folk was dangerous. Do we actually need to see a pre-civil rights era America to realize the direction America is going and the catalyst for it?

Yea. He was using it as a reason why people shouldn't celebrate. I did point out to him that they did kill MLK and Kirk was shitting on him, but I forgot his response. I leaned in on him after that and said I am concerned about my kids, family, future generations and my black people. Kirk was a danger to them. I ain't looking down on anyone celebrating his death.

I feel no real genuine sympathy toward his death besides the fact another human being is dead.
Something he publicly stated numerous times he would not give to me or anyone I care about.
his speech, actions and machinations were built on pure ignorance and hate. That is not what we should be mourning or celebrating.
This has been there long term plan for DECADES. And anyone with common sense saw it coming. And we got black and brown folk who voted this into the highest office anyway.
