Have absolutely NO time for vegans and "newfound" vegans who watched a documentary preach about how all animal products are detrimental to your health. Yes, the meat and dairy industries are shit, and yes processed meat is not good for you. Obviously. But to say that all animal fat and protein is bad for us as part of 'trendy' vegan propaganda is simply inaccurate and has been disproven. High quality, grass fed, free range meat is actually very good for you, being one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Some of the healthiest and longest-living people on earth like the Okinawans and the Maasai's, rely heavily on animal products, particularly during the winter when crops don't grow. With the birth of consumer culture, food production moved from farms to factories where a lot of meat is now laden with chemicals and pesticides and manufactured by huge industrial processes, so it's important to buy locally sourced, pastor raised products.
In my world, we DON'T cut food groups!!! It is ok to enjoy food, have dessert, and eat a steak every once in a while. I've lost 95-100 lbs and the healthiest I've ever been in my life due to MODERATION and BALANCE. Too bad we can't market that more often.
