I'm on her side regarding this issue. She was making a philosophical point and in the context she was speaking in, she was right in saying the word! I mean why say the "N" word. Just say the word and keep it moving. There is no such thing as the "N" word. It's either ******/NIGGA or it's not. I'm amazed at how backwards and polictically correct we've become at the expense of real diaglogue & action.I find it hard to believe that instead of debating what she was discussing, we are debating the use of the word ******! Say what you want, how you want but we as black people use the word all the time. Not all of us but many of us do. Another example of us geting upset over something somebody else says when we say it too our selves all the time. Here is a personal fact.

I've never been called a ******/nigga to my face or within earshot other than by another black person. No chines, jew, white, redneck, donkey, horse, rubber ball, etc..etc.. Not onetime in my life have I ever been called a nigga/****** by my own peeps. How of ya'll have similar stories?

Bullshit. Dr. Laura wasn't engaged in "dialogue" she was playing into her gimmick of being a "straight talker who doesn't bite her tongue". How did her dropping that word 11 times and the rest of her racist rant help that stupid woman who White husband allows his friends to use racial slurs in her presence?
If I call my brother an asshole or a nigga in anger or jest, that's between us but another muhfucka bet'not or we'll have a problem. That applies to families and it applies to ethnic/social groups. For some people to act like it doesn't expose their own intellectual dishonesty.
