About 6 years ago I worked at a homeless shelter and a cac OD on fenty. We did Narcan and dude survived. The next day he came to the shelter like nothing had happened.

We've done the Naloxone inservice training w/ the pharmacy at my current job. Fortunately we don't have any drug users in our clientele. I was thinking back to one of my old jobs (oncall work). That place would be more challenging for sure. Just over 3 times the clientele with a handful of users.

Childhood friend of mine died a few years ago from an overdose in the stairwell of his apt building. Cocaine laced with fentanyl, despite being a heroin user by choice (for almost 30 years from junior high until his early-40s).





 
Reminds me of when i read about that incident that happened at the wrap party for Titanic,where someone put PCP in the catered food..and they never caught the people responsible :smh:
