Dont pump gas on May 15!!

April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas
prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all facebook members are to not go to a gas station in
protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

The average car takes about 20 to 30 dollars to fill up.

If everyone did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would possibly take
$2,200,000,000.00 (that's BILLION) out of the oil companys pockets for just
one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to
put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldnt) repost this event with
'Don't pump gas on May 15th. WHAT'S UP PEOPLE YOU DOWN OR WHAT?

Yeah man...gas prices creeped up like a bitch...what used to hold me down for 3 days now gets done in a day...shit is way fukkin ridiculous...

take a bus, get an electric vehicle, carpool...stop buying this fuckin' gas anyway...think of it as killing your great-grandkids...you don't want to see their beautiful faces drown in rising waters do you?

Two Billion to the oil companies is like a raindrop in a hurricane. So what if we don't buy gas on the 15th, We will be buying gas on either the14th or 16th, so what's the big deal.

One day means nothing to the oil companies. If you want to make a difference go a week without buying gas, now you will get their attention.

Don't get me wrong, I will not buy gas on the 15th but the message needs to be stronger. One day simply is not enough.

Exactly. This is retarded! You can't boycott necessities. You have to eventually give in. The gas companies are just going to keep the prices high until they recoup their revenues. How you going to stop them?

^^^ EXACTLY,,, IT IS A NECESSITY,,, perfect way for investors, and oil owners, to sit back and watch their bank accounts exponentially rise....if only i was born at an early age when the earths natural resources were made expendable, and i would cake up and pass it on to my family... BLOOD MONEY HEHEEH

What we need to do is stop buying gas from the big dog Exron Mobil buy all the other gas stop big dog from making money he will drop price

These gas boycotts are B.S. Ok year you don't buy on the 15th. What you gonna do the 16th?

If you really wanna lower gas prices lets have a real boycott and everybody start walking to where they need to go

Who's with me on this? C'mon I know yall all down.

best thing to do is steal gas, (AT YOUR OWN RISK)

u gettin it free

and its comin out the gas company's pocket

THAT WILL DO NOTHING . ONLY THING WILL HAPPEN IS HE WILL SELL HIS GAS TO ALL THE SMALLER STATIONS AND YOU WILL END UP PAYING MORE FOR GAS FROM THE SMALL STATIONS WHO HAD TO HAVE IT TRUCKED IN FROM THE BIG DOG.................GAME KNOW GAME AND GAS IS A HUSTLE !!!!!!!!

this is kinda something hard to do but, something needs to be done soon in my part of North Carolina it ain't $3.40 but $2.89 is still high.

I try to tell my boss at work bout this shit, we was talking bout the rise they was going to give, and he was like we should be happy with .39, cause when he started working back in 98' they shit was like .07 and i was like yea but what price gas was back then what .89 and he was like no $1.00, i said well ok that's my point time changed and .39 is like $15 more which is good but may not see it

One day will not make a difference, happens every year and shit still hi. If they make 2 bil a day, you take 2 bill out of their pocket for just one day, they know their going to make for the day before or the after.
You really want to make a difference lobby your congressman for alternative fuels and transportation. Back in the 80s i saw i car that ran on steam, there are alot of alternative energy devices out there.
Or we can take it to back in the day and yo ass can walk or bike it, but they know that shit aint going to happen thats why gas is so high. We could run from Georgia to New York (white and black) during slavery but they know mufukas cant do it now.

Agree

I own oil stock so for all i care it can go up to 10 bucks per gallon, plus it kips riff raff off the road.. People complain about 3.30 for a gallon a gas but spend 8 bucks per shot at the bar, just to go piss it out.. It does not matter if you dont pump gas on the 15th, that is just that much more everyone will use come the 16th....

Most gas stations are owned independently so not getting gas for one day takes money out of those owners pockets not the big oil companies pockets. It simply doesn't work to hurt oil company profits because by the time the gas is at the gas station they have already made their money.
