Most politicians besides governors or mayors have very little experience in managing a large enterprise - A president doesn't run the country but manages the bureaucracy and 9/10 the government will function day to day even if the President did nothing or 4 years but what the President does do is set the tone for how the government will operate - s you can have a compassionate government that looks to lessen the burdens of folks or you can have an asshole government that looks to punish people at every turn.

Trump has never managed more than 15 people his entire career and he has always been an asshole who fucks over the little guy and punishes those who he feels has slighted him. Jump ahead, to now and he is an asshole who cannot manage his White House staff and is clueless on handling the large enterprise but he makes sure it operates in a very "asshole" way.

Let say she did not participate, they would have taken her show off or assassinated her like they did Roger Ailes. She would not be able to promote President Obama allowing Clinton to win. Her backing and approval was critical to his victory.
