Went to a dollar general today and saw on the credit card machine you can pay using your paypal account all you have to do is setup your paypal with your mobile number and a pin...

At the terminal where you usually swipe a credit or debit card, PayPal users can enter their phone number and a four digit PIN. More than 20 retailers already offer this service, including Home Depot, Barnes & Noble and Toys R Us

yea no doubt but if you got some money in your paypal and dont want to wait for it to hit your bank account it might be worth knowing

who goes to the store without cash or their debit/credit card?

It's another option.

I receive a steady monthly income via paypal. I got a paypal debit card and mastercard. I don't need to pull out anything to complete the transaction. It's not just Dollar General. Most major companies let you use paypal online. Many local merchants like Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch accept paypal.

I know. I have used my Paypal account at different locations at the POS terminal without presenting my card. I was just detailing how Paypal is a commerce system now. Credit, Debit, Bill Me Later as well as Terminal transactions.

They stay hawking me to get the portable credit/debit scanner for my phone too.

Paypal ain't no joke.

That shit is tight, I too receive several streams of income monthly and this is very convenient!

Be careful of paypal fam...

They are NOT a banking institution, and can and have frozen accounts for weeks or sometimes months. In their user agreement, paypal says they can limit access or deny your funds FOR ANY REASON

I personally know someone who had a spike in sales on his online project and they froze his account saying he got too much money at one time which did not fit his pattern. He had 5 figures frozen by paypal for months with no interest.
:smh:

They do not have to follow ANY banking regulations so I get my funds out ASAP after they hit paypal to a real bank.

American Express Bluebird card has a prepaid debit card with no loading fees and monthly fee. I use my Paypal card to load money of the card when I sell. My other payments via paypal are good.

this is TRUE... they put people thru 6months HOLDS for no reason, all the time..
just google "paypal scams" or "paypay hold"

they are not subject to FDIC banking regulations and can do so at any time for any reason.

This is NOT news - PayPal has been doing this since last year. They even had a $10 instant rebate at Dollar General and Home Depot last December - buy $30 worth of merchandise and get charged only $20. I signed up, within an hour bought gas cards at both stores using my cellphone number, and never even opened the envelope with the PayPal card sent a week later.

i have the paypal mastercard debit card, i fucks wit paypal hard but like a poster said they can freeze ur money for whatever reason, but so far it hasn't really affected me
