Does anybody have AT&T U-Verse?? And what do you think about it?

Man i've had U-verse a little over a year now.And i'm tired of this shit.My service is the worst from pixalating,Do service just dropping to my DVR not working right.I Don't want to go back to Comcast but it looks like i'm going to have to.And i would go back to Direct but they don't have any Internet

I don't know how old Uverse is but it seems there are a number of kinks that need to be worked out.

My biggest complaint at the time is stuttered playback of the dvr. It only seems to affect the two satellite boxes not the main DVR box.

Also, the two satilite boxes are connected via hdmi, if I turn the tv off for an extend length of time, when I turn the tv back on it doesn't recognize the cable box and give me the "no signal" message. I then have to disconnect/reconnect the hdmi inorder for the tv to recognize the box.

Lastly, I'm pretty sure att is throttling my Internet from time to time, not enough to mess up normal Internet use, but downloading huge files (2+ gigs) sometimes takes much longer than it should.

1. The OnDemand isn't as vast as Comcast
2. When I moved I had to start over from scratch instead of them transferring the service. I lost over 100 movies/tv shows on DVR.

Also forgot to mention, I have all my equipment (cable boxes, etc.) in a closet and purchased the Point Anywhere remotes from att, but that sumbitch hardly works right, very annoying! I'm working on just getting some ir/rf signal repeaters.

I love it. It's very user friendly. I get pixilation on occasion, but the problem was a lot worse with Comcast and Direct. It doesn't happen often and isn't a big deal. Every few months the response time during channel surfing is really slow. I remember one time, I changed the channel on the remote and it took 5 seconds for the receiver to respond to the command. I do a hard reset and it immediately improves, but that's about the only problem I have that's worth complaining about. Overall, it's a lot better than shitty Comcast. I'll never go back to those fucks.

Yes, they are. I dont know what happened with his equipment, because I transferred service and didn't have a problem viewing my recorded shows.

I do get pixilation.. especially when watching WWE Raw.. The Internet service is solid though.. I have Uverse because its the best option I have since I cant get Verizon FIOS, and Time Warner doesnt has limited channels.

Directv sucks. It has something like Netflix but you can only watch it where the main box is, even then I can't figure it out. Can't record on all tvs. Keep uverse and call them about the service, they may need to come and change the cables.

I have had it. It uploads slow and downloads a lot sloer then netgear. Net gear did wonders for me.....same cpu too. Also can't really play x box live and have the breezy surf the net at the same time. My x box signal is usually red too. Even though it performs good (when I'm not connecting both the pc and x box).

Also their service is shady. They try to patch ya shit up enough to where u have to or want to pay for aditional services

i've had it for like 3 years now and i LOVE it. no complaints, very easy to use, clean look on the menu, etc. plus now i can pause/rewind live tv on ANY tv so that's a big plus. i'd never go back to cable or satellite. plus i've never had an outage. even when hurricane ike came thru, i hooked up my generator and ran the cable and tv sparingly to get updates. it never went out....

Uverse is the best thing goin', and any problems you have can be fixed. STAY ON THEIR ASSES UNTIL YOUR SHIT IS RIGHT! Keep callin' 'em, and get a supervisor on that shit if you have to. At&t (like all service carriers)is obligated to get you PERFECT service 99.99% of the time, at their expense. Take advantage of that....

We had the U450 and I think my bill got up to like 160 at some point, and the rep told me she could save me $20 a yr. I said WTH????

C/S... Comcast is beyond shady. When I got with them, I bought my own cable modem. When I had my services disconnected those bitches tried to charge me for my own modem. I had to take my receipt up there and stand in their long government cheese lines just to prove it was mine. Fuck them forever.

160 for the biggest package they have compared to 130 for the smallest seems off. I may have to call them tomorrow and ask them why my bill is so high. I don't have a phone with them either. I can't get fios here in Irving and I just can't go back to time warner so I guess I'm stuck. I love the service though.

.. I'm more than satisfied w/ Uverse. I had only two outages in almost two years, And both times It was because the power went out on my whole block. Directv tried to give me everything to stay, but I live in Ohio and during all the winter months the service was straight trash. A huge waste of $$$. I'm sticking w/ this..

Thats about what my bill is with the 450 pack... @ the most it's been 185-200 or so...

I can work with that... DTV had me in the high 200's alot...

I've had it for almost two years and I've had some minor issues but the service has been quick and top notch so the issues don't last long.
I like it but the girl that sold it to me sold me on it being a bundle of phone/internet/tv and it's not.
I plan on calling to cancel to see if they'll offer me the world to stay like DirecTV did when I left them.
