Like Kobe, he has a superstar, freak of nature that he is playing sidekick to that can assist him in getting his ring total up early.

He's very, very offensively skilled, but has a higher regard for efficiency than Kobe.

He's 24 and has a ring.

Naw

Kobe came into the league wanting to be the best.

Kyrie wants to be good but more important loves being Uncle Drew

what a min huh :hmm: you do realize Kyrie might not win another ring again:lol::lol:kobe won 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody is GUARANTEED. . .

. . . .but lets not act like winning more rings is out of the question for him. He has Lebron and Love on his squad. That gives him a pretty damn good shot at repeating.

Kyrie stays hurt; Kyrie doesnt play that good of defense; and he only has LBJ for a limited of time; LBJ cant carry him forever ; To answer your question no; Kobe is an all time generational great; I hated him but I recognize his greatness; Kyrie is a good player and there will be many more just like him; dude probably wont even make hall of fame....

You know what, I could say a lot about the rest, but C'mon, bruh . . . .

. . . PROBABLY won't make the HOF?

why will he?? what has he done at this moment to garner hall of fame consideration?? Dude has a ring and thats it; so many other players have multiple rings and are not in hall; like i said forget Kobe, dude aint close to AI, GP, Clyde, Thomas, Parker, etc etc hell CP has had a better overall career; hes not even considered the best PG in the league right now; hes never been considered the best PG at any point in his NBA career; dude stop it....

These last finals he was

But I agree with you

Dude is 24, and up until Lebron, never had a squad to lead that could be competitive. He has all the skills and mentality a player would need to not only be great, but be a clutch performer.

I'm not saying he's a sure-fire HOF'er at the moment, but his current trajectory has him putting up high quality numbers, and playing in a lot of big games.

That was one series were he played good; but lets be clear, his numbers arent that impressive; actually Curry had better numbers the year before and people were saying he didnt play that good:hmm:; again Kyrie has the benefit of playing with LBJ but thats not gonna last long; although he a good player, he didnt do nothing of substance before LBJ; and like I said there are multiple pgs, that if you or I or anyone else were in the league, would draft ahead of him right now....

Kyrie better than Curry fam. Proved it head to head on the biggest stage. More killer instinct.

I always thought Kyrie was underrated. This thread confirms what I've always thought. If Kobe didn't start out playing with Shaq, or an organization that won people would've probably been saying the SAME SHIT about him. Winning matters a lot, and because dude wasn't able to lead POOR teams to the playoffs and win, somehow that means he's not a great talent?

wtf kind of question is this. I dont pull for Kobe, but that is a dumb question.
NO HE IS NOT EVEN IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS KOBE. HIS ROLE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN KOBE'S

True but he won't have:
1) After Game 5 given to him again EVER.
2) Opposing Center injured and out of series.
3) NBA ref fouling out opposing star in Game 6.
4) Facing Durant on GSW.

You get the picture. The first three is bad enough. The fourth? Death sentence for future ring chances. Pray to the injury Gods to take those mofo out!

How is his role different?

He was the no. 1 option on a team that couldn't win because of lack of talent, JUST LIKE KOBE. He's now a no. 2 w/. an older, all-time top 10, top 5 player as his no. 1.

When Kyrie is no. 1, and actually has a squad and is losing, then say he can't get it done.

I wish I could Rip Van Winkle and wake up opening night.... Boredom is a motherfucker obviously....

Some of the shit being asked.... Nevermind.... :hithead:

You niggas would be dumb enough to entertain such a retarded thread tho too :smh:

He's not a top defender, cool.

Nash got two MVP's and was a worse defender.

Offensively, what can't he do. Kobe was mostly a scorer, too. Kyrie got finish around the cup with the best of him. He has a deadly perimeter J, and is one of the better 3pt shooters in the league. That sounds like a complete skill-set to me. Now he's positioned on a great squad to compete for more chips, AND he's shown the heart to get it done in the clutch.

The funny thing about this thread is there are some that would say LBJ hasn't even matched kobe career yet... ....

OP said Kyrie has the same role as KOBE...Lebron has the same role as KOBE
that nigga is trippin

How old are you?

Do you not remember when Kobe played with Shaq? If so, HOW were there roles different? Is Lebron not the no. 1 option like Shaq? Was Kobe not the no. 2 option to Shaq like Kyrie is to Lebron?
