You have YT music? It comes with YouTube premium which I have. Should I cancel spotify and apple music and just go with YT music?

no need to have the other services if you have yt premium. yt premium also comes with google play music. at least it used to. i still have a grandfathered plan at 9.99 per month.

if it were me i would cancel the redundant services.

Not point of having all those services, unless you like a specific feature that the others don't have. I'm with, YTM.

I got the same, Google Play Music is the only service I’ve been using for some years now, Ive tried Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc...but always like GPM better

I don't think yt premium comes with google play music?

Maaaaaaaan stop paying 4 any of it. Everytime i see 1 of these threads i tell my story. I've been finessing Google play for years now. Just create a new email address i have sprint pick charge to my bill and cancel it. I've taken a break only cuz when i bought the new note it came with 6 months of spotify. But as soon as that runs out I'm back to finessing!!!

it used too. they changed how it was provisioned last year. people that had google play music included with yt premium before the change got to keep it. new subscriptions did not.

but yt music is pretty much the same. eventually google play music will be phased out and there will only be yt music.

Sound like you talking about the free shit. So if it's the 1st time you're doing it with that email address go act like you wanna sign up it'll tell you they'll let you get a trial but like all of em they want a way to bill you if you forget to cancel. But at least with sprint it gives me the option to charge it to my bill. I do it that way it gives me the free trial. I immediately go and cancel cuz it'll still run thru the end of your trial period and when it ends switch up email addresses and do it again

They'll give you that with Google play. And like I say you can get over on them

1. yeah, that is how i have it. it was all the same until they changed the program.

2. i often tell people do you have more money or more time. i don't have the time to be flipping email addys and credit/debit cards each month to save 10 bucks on a service that i use daily. literally every day. its 10 friggin bux. i have the money for that. if i didn't i would have the time to flip email addys and cards.

3. don't get it twisted. i am a proud script kiddie. i have historically ran all of the hacks to save money on services. i went years not paying for alot of shit.

same here, I remember doing the different email and CC thing a few years ago on some services. Like you I use Google Play Music every single day, at home, in my car, at the gym, etc.. To me it’s worth the $10

That’s factual....

Famo this DONT work

I got YouTube and the YouTube Music app on my iPhone and iPads. No ads and no commercials for 3 months now.

How?

I got a free app called: Luna: Best VPN for iPhone/iPad

After or during install, there is a prompt to allow them to side load an ad blocker. Allow it. It will block all YouTube’s ads and commercials on their apps. Side benefit is you have a great VPN too.

The longer you continue to run Luna, you end up having more and more premium features like 70Mbps maximum speed, region selection, system advisor, real time monitoring and dedicated private VIP servers.

1. I rarely trust free apps. Especially one that tracks my web activity.

2. It's 10 bucks. Do you have more money or more time? I don't smoke so I don't buy cigarettes, I don't drink alcohol or coffee so I don't buy those either. I work from home so I don't have to buy lunch. I can swing 10 bucks especially for the value of what I get across pc, phone, laptop, tablet, tv for YouTube.

All excellent points. Like yourself, I don’t smoke or drink alcohol or coffee either. Upon further investigation of Luna, I’m gonna go ahead and part with the 10 bucks for premium YouTube.

I've been using Spotify for years.
So from my eyes, the main differences are that Spotify has better music management and its algorithm makes more sense. IE: It developing a musical personality based on one's plays. Whereas YouTube has something similar but currently, it combines one's YouTube Music plays with their YouTube video plays to develop an overall YouTube profile and suggestions, which I find irritating. As of today I have Spotify and YouTube Music premium. At least I know that my paying for Spotify gets me Hulu too at no additional charge, and paying for YouTube premium eliminates the damn ads.

Interestingly when I went to get YouTube premium from my iPhone, it quoted me a price of $15.99 after the month trial ends. But I went on YouTube on my computer and it quoted $11.99.

i am grandfathered in at 9.99. the price went up.

i don't have apple devices so i don't know what that is about. 15.99 is the family price. 11.99 is the regular price.

Apple Music is the shit! I miss it badly. There playlist are top notch and you will be introduced to artist you wouldn’t normally listen too. I have Spotify and Tidal. I barely listen to Tidal because it’s messy and because of the bitrate for its music it buffers a lot, no matter what. I do change the music playback to a lower bitrate but that comprises sound and that’s why you get Tidal. I will say that if they can last until 5G is really poppin they will be a problem. Until then it’s just buffering. I got Tidal for free because my throwaway Android comes with a Tidal 6 month subscription and I don’t even listen to it. Lol. Oh Spotify’s playlist are pretty cumbersome and they have funny names like Rap Caviar. That name sucks and I don’t know how often they change their playlist. Apple Music changes theirs all the time and they tell you within that playlist that they did update it. Happy Listening!
