Should you be able to?
Does it make a difference because it's a cell phone and not a house phone?
Does it make a difference because it's a cell phone and not a house phone?

I would. I don't see the problem. If and when I had one I didn't mind him answering my phone especially if I couldn't get to it. If he feels the need to ask who it was then I have no problem telling him.
What about you femme??
I think if you're in a committed relationship, you should have nothing to hide so it's no big deal to answer your SO's phone.
But I never have because I think is not a freedom you should automatically exercise. And personally, I'm not that nosy. He pretty much tells me everything anyway so much to the point that I don't want to know it all. Because I really don't need to know it all and I think it's ok to have some things to yourself.
I would never ask anyone to let me answer their phone. But if he were in the other room and his phone rang and he told me to answer it, I sure would. I'd let someone answer my phone if I was in a committed relationship, that means I don't have nothing to hide
actually it doesn't.

....because I won't answer sometimes when I'm in the house.
Nope a person does not have the right to answer thier SO's phone or cell phone withour permission. That is a violation of trust. If you are not married you REALLY have no right doing so.Should you be able to?

and a stern talkin to.I can understand that. I am not one to question who is calling, normally whomever I am with let's me know without me asking.

They are scared of you that is why.
I have, but it's not a biggie if I do or don't. I even know his password to get into certain areas, but I never have snooped around...
If he's going to go out and do something with another woman or anything else behind my back, me snooping around isn't going to stop it...

... I can't stand when Sexy_Scorpio answers my phone...
Shit is private, even if it was just my mother calling. Same thing for e-mails, digging through my porn folder, etc. I don't have anything to hide, it's just disrespectul in my eyes unless you have permission. I would never go through anyone else's phone regardless of their activities.

What's SO??![]()
