Would a senior citizen service have any play?

For household consumables and some shelf stable food items?
If you could save grandma a trip to the store for detergents, cleaning products, trash bags, etc?

No I do not but this reminds me of a model I was working on way back doing DVD delivery services to senior citizen homes, there is potential in this for sure.

There could be a lane for adults to help elderly family members by providing household items and having them delivered. It not sexy, but the basics are always needed.

It could work but you would have to spend some time with customer acquisition.

Once you build up a small satisfied customer base, word of mouth will be enough for your business to catch fire.

Agreed. This could definitely work. A draw back is that services like this exist via amazon, municipal programs, Craigslist or other areas. But...it seems like it is under utilized enough that if you could get in with some senior living facilities (especially nice ones) and churches, you could build a good base.
