I have 1 really close white friend whom I used to hang out with frequently during my schooling years. We aren't as close as we were back in the day, but we still chat on the phone occasionally. Both of our families were really close back then also. After I went to an HBCU, our relationship was never the same. I know that sounds bad, but it's real.

If they feel that way about Blacks because of experiences sure.

If they feel that way because of skin color, than no.

They're life experiences and observations are no more or less valid than yours. They're free to generalize racially (based on whatever factors they want to) just as you are. They can also be just as wrong-(or right)-headed as you.
