to be honest if a child is 3/4 white then that makes them 1/4 black with melanin and the dominate gene factor. If they choose not to represent themselves as black it comes from their upbringing and surroundings. Slavery and rape did not cause asian mixed with black, natives mixed black etc.... which were all occurring before white people ever got to the "new world". Who is self hating and why not be proud of what you are? There is also no such thing as "race" in terms of dividing cultures of people. That was also invented by white people for social status purposes. Everyone else identified by tribes. The ignorance is so sad. Obviously most of the tribal groups (at least here in America) are lost as far as identifying with, so the next thing to identify with is what genes you have in you that are dominate, and black people have the dominate genes.

Yeah apparently Aaliyah's uncle is the one behind the biopic and since he was supposedly the one who helped arrange the whole Aaliyah/R.Kelly thing, people are thinking he wont be completely honest with that part of the story

Its looking like the project might not even happen now anyways. Monie Love was on twitter saying Aaliyah's mother and brother arent happy with it and Missy c/sed so then many Aaliyah fans started saying they arent going to support the project

So that they we would be seen as less than and be approved by the church to enslave us on a mass scale. We didn't need to go to a different climate to develop different features and complexion. No I am not denying the other part of what I am (native american). When I am asked what I am mixed with I let it be known. My culture is "black", "black" is the dominate factor in me, the dominate gene. When I tell people what I am mixed with, I am still seen as "black". What you don't understand is that there is not just one image that represents a "black" person or "black" beauty. Black people come in many different shapes, sizes, and complexions. That is not just here in America either, that is all over the world.

Aaliyah's family is on the attack against "Lifetime" ... vowing to stop production on her biopic.

Lifetime plans to start filming this summer ... chronicling the R&B singer's life and tragic death. 17-year-old Disney actress Zendaya has been cast as Aaliyah -- who died in 2001 in a plane crash.

Aaliyah's uncle and former manager, Barry Hankerson, tells us the family is pissed that no one from the network contacted them about the movie.

Hankerson says the family will block any attempt on Lifetime's part to use any of Aaliyah's music. He says the family has hired a lawyer and will do everything they can to block release of the flick.

The family is not opposed to a big, theatrical film, but thinks a TV movie is too small for someone as big as Aaliyah.
