That's because muthafuckas at the post office are over whelmed but don't want to admit it....that's why amazon gonna just end up having their own distribution eventually

Amazon does a pretty big percentage of their own delivery in all large markets and they gain more control / traction in smaller markets almost every day.... But if you think that there will be a day when Amazon is only shipping things themselves..... Maybe, but definitely not anytime soon is my answer.

Bezos knows that final mile deliveryccan be tricky and the army of knuckleheads he has out there now.... Nah they aren't quite ready for all of that. They still have drivers leaving packages at the end of driveways... In mailboxes (big no no if you're not USPS) and in apartment common areas where they tend to go missing....

Yeah they do be wilin..tbey are under a time constraint...

Amazon spending big fucking money trying to revolutionize delivering shit...

But yea right now they need all the help they can get..

Gonna be honest
I still dont understand the benefit of Amazon prime

I purchase a lot of DVDs and blu-rays. Before I had prime I was paying $3.99 per item in shipping.

So if I ordered 50 dvd/Blu-ray a in a year, then that’s $200 in shipping costs. Prime was $100 a year ( ow $120), so I save a $100. One year I ordered over 100 items on amazon prime. That could have cost me nearly $400 in shipping cost.

I’m patient when it comes to shipping time though as long as it’s free and reasonable time. Two days is nice, but I’m not going to be outraged if it took a couple of extra days either.

I agree that Prime is ONE of the BEST deals EVER, I buy A LOT from amazon so it does save a bundle. I just feel it is the PRINCIPLE, not to mention you are paying a little more for PRIME ITEMS anyway. Paying for a service and not getting it is NO FUN.

No one orders an EggMcMiffin and expect to the get the tasty Egg McNothing

I still fucks with Amazon Prime because I actually use the other stuff that Prime offers, not just the two day free shipping. Hell sometimes they be offering one day shipping on some of my orders.

What Amazon did is make other companies step up their game. Wal-Mart has free two day shipping along with a bunch of other places like Best Buy.

I still fucks with Ebay too, mainly because of no taxes on a lot of products like TV's. The Samsung 82 inch I purchased late last year cost me no taxes and it had free shipping. Same TV on Amazon and other places were charging big time with taxes, I saved like $300 buying it on Ebay.

I feel it the Columbus one is a little bit bigger and it seems cleaner and more polished...

Great deals and they carry damn near everything related to electronics.... I love it there

When I used to work IT, used to get alot of stuff from them when I needed parts in a bind quickly if a Fry's wasnt local. I recently did a build for my son and don't know how they constantly are lower than any other stores on some things like processor and motherboards, plus give you a discount for buying both. Been using MicroCenter for damn near 20 yrs now thinking back

Boom

Prime is a must for many.

And some get that student discount price

The free shipping is also guaranteed

And if you don't really need 2 day? There is usually a discount for regular shipping

If its late you either get a credit or free month of prime

And MANY don't realize Prime includes special deals for members only, streaming music and movies and whole foods discount and MORE.

And the customer service is USUALLY great.

Haven’t had any issues with amazon directly. My issues always come with USPS, which amazon can’t control if the fat ass lazy woman want her out the truck to bring the package to the door if it won’t fit in the mail box  but that’s another story.

I generally just buy movies and amazon win in that area for me. As a matter of fact, I’m on my way to buy Cleopatra Jones blu-ray.

they are lower then wholesale direct costs, because they take a loss on processor and motherboard bundles by 70 bucks. they're business model when selling is someone's not only buying that but buying everything to build a computer even windows and their eset antivirus. that's why i usually drive past the one that's 20 minutes away to the one that's 2 and a half hours away because i buy in so large a bulk quantity on things plus i pick up all of their open box items, they don't care what i get. mayfield store can be assholes at times about stuff. lately they haven't but i still do my bulk of everything at the farther store. luckily we have 3 locations in ohio and another 2 hours away in detroit.

Truth

Amazon is never the problem

I have had boxes just thrown, dropped, opened you name it.

So i tried my best to be cool with the delivery people.

Sidebar...

I'm pissed cause i always miss those crazy dvd set sales

One day they had the Alien set for like $20, the wire for $25, etc etc

That is the only thing that pisses me off.

They just had 10 inch fire tableys got $100!!!

shit happen to me yesterday. I was pissed! I called customer service. Let them know I wasnt notified when the package was delivered. Shit was just left outside the apartment building.

No problems with standard prime 2 day ups delivery but the same day Amazon delivery service is trash they will take 2-4 days to deliver.

I would agree that paying for next day is CRAP_SHOOT sometime but, I recently had a couple orders get FREE NEXT DAY and they were placed after 4pm. SHOCK THE HELL OUT OF ME

No other delivery company has access to apartments like USPS... We have access to over 95% of apartment buildings within the 48

I live in Toronto Canada and Prime is that hotness
