I agree with David Banner and that is no way in defense of Diddy beating woman super sucker the gay shit can't cosign but we do celebrate our own demises in public like no other group of people He's correct Robert Downey Jr l like as an actor was a well know Crack head and Heroin addict once was so high woke up in his neighbors child bedroom since his star has only risen (Marvel's Iron Man etc..) multi million dollar deals .Against our own we are unforgiven and turn a blind eye to the bullshit (NFL) just my opinion weeks later and these meme are still funny? ok again no need for slander or name calling amongst this dialogue cause I would like to be respectful to whoever disagrees and until true facts are out I feel how I feel
I can't speak on what other communities do regarding the celebrating the demise of their popular figures due to crimes, because I'm not a part of those communities.
And I don't deeply involve myself in their communities so I can't fully speak on what they celebrate.
And yes, we as Black people do celebrate people who have done wrong but who were also known to be bad people. Like Banner said, we knew that the people were doing wrong for years but no one said anything.
Well people did say something but the right people didn't say it, and when the right people did those people were held responsible for what they did.
Regarding Robert Downey Jr. He did drugs and hurt himself, he didn't hurt others like Puff or R Kelly. That's the difference between the acceptance and having him rise again.
Puff just always had an evil spirit and an evil cloud hanging over him to me, and apparently others saw it too. And only after learning what he did to people and how he treated them are people celebrating his demise.
We as Black people are a vocal people and let people know how we feel, that's why our opinions about our celebrities and their downfalls are known. Especially with the creation of social media.
And no, the memes aren't funny to me and damn near never really were.
