Just got notice from chase via Mint.com that the interest rates on both my credit cards with chase interest rate increased by 0.25. Have not heard from AMEX if they will be doing the same thing?

You shouldnt be paying interest anyways. Pay off yopur statement balance when you get your statement and you wont pay any interest. This has nothing to do with the feds increasing the interest rates, so call them up and complain if it bothers you.

Call them or use a different card.

That's how the game works. Don't know how people stay getting lit up. Different lifestyles, I guess.:dunno:

Different perspective actually. No different than those whom live by the idea that they buy used instead of new cars because of how it lose value, those who rent versus buying a home or vice versa and then there are those whom believe you should not have a credit card at all becaus if you can't pay cash for it you don't need it right. ..

Cool. I charge damn near everything myself. But you also consider a line of credit. That'll give you a significantly lower interest rate if you routinely carry over a balance. You can push that CC balance over if need be. I have one on ice. Look into it.

I always pay in full each month unless I stretch it out a large balance but...it actually looks like mine went down a percentage. I have USAA so I dont know if that counts.

DISCOVER card was the worst :smh: Glad I got rid of it.
Each card serves a different purpose. Capital one has always been good to me, but chase is my new plaything. Thanks to jagu, I was got a discover card and I've earned in 2 months what took me almost a year with chase. I love cash back.
