Why nobody runs up and protects the man from being verbally and physically assaulted?
So a man is only allowed to defend themselves against certain threats?

He was in a jam, I have been there several times.
I have learned my lesson, was lucky to be able to cool things down.
I understand. But someone has to be rational and it’s pretty clear who wasn’t going to be.
I’m not going to bank on someone else trying to understand when their emotions are clouding all logic and rationality. I absolutely do not deal with people in that state of mind. I will remove myself from the premises because in my mind I’m protecting us both. I might have the ability to kill that person at that moment.
That’s how I see. But I agree with you as well.
I just think humans are unable to see past their high emotions. its not about the moment. It’s the moment after. He could have knocked her out, she could have hit her head on the concrete and died or some type of retaliation. All type of possibilities.
I do not take any chance with irrational people. And it’s for the sake of both of us.
So yeah, there are levels to this walking away shit. But if you’re an individual that don’t mind handling confrontation, then no judgment from me. I understand that as well. I don’t trust myself to react in a way that would have made that situation any better.

All the people who showed up to intervene when he got physical but didn't intervene when she did are part of the problem. They the ones sit back and laugh and egg people on to get hurt and then when aggressors get what they deserve they want to intervene.

Statistically/probability tells me the law is going to side with a woman if a man hits backs.
That alone lets me know I need to get away as far as possible. But I also understand those that want to take their chances by claiming self defense.
All I can say is good luck. May or may not work out for you. Likely not, but there is always that possibility that it will work out in the man’s favor.
When a Dude un-squares himself from a heated argument and basically runs away within the confrontation, you have to recognize that its time to let it go, I believe its called saving face even though he was just moving away she would have won the argument had she let him go. The main reason cats get locked up is that women go from tough guys to weeping babies when the pigs show up. If the woman remains in tough guy mode and keeps raging, the man gets away with it 9 times out of 10. But most these type of women know to go into weeping baby mode when the cops show up. It's their way of kicking the man's ass because they know he'll go to jail if they play victim and that they'll get the W.
