Golden State Warriors All-Star Kevin Durant acknowledged a controversial Twitter incident on Tuesday and apologized for comments that were critical of his former team and coach, calling the tweets "idiotic" and "childish."

"I use Twitter to engage with fans," Durant said from the stage of the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco. "I think it's a great way to engage with basketball fans. I happened to take it a little too far. That's what happens sometimes when I get into these basketball debates about what I really love, to play basketball. I don't regret clapping back at anybody or talking to my fans on Twitter. I do regret using my former coach's name and the former organization I played for. That was childish. That was idiotic, all those type of words. I apologize for that."

well at least he maned up to the shit and didnt try to deflect

what he said wasn't wrong..doe

he still look like a bitch for doing it though smh

It actually was wrong though.

OKC had all the talent in the world.

They were up 3-1 on the Warriors. Did they do that with no coaching and no good players?

What they didnt have though was leadership and execution down the stretch. In other words... KD as the best player on the team didnt do his job.

He trying hard as hell to blame everybody but himself.

Gotta say I do like KD but these athletes got way too much estrogen these days :smh:

You gotta at least be savvy enough to not use a verified account

He shouldn't apologize for his gripes with the coaching and shit players except WB in OKC

Their coach is ass.
The coach of OKC has been ass for a decade.
Yea,

Who are these shit players exactly?

Is every team supposed to have 2 MVPs and 4 all-stars?
No every Team's GM is supposed to effectively build a championship team around their franchise players..

OKC failed to do that in all 9 years KD been there

they had the dream draft 4 yrs in a row and blew it all cause they wanted to be cheap..imagine if they would've paid a lil extra what okc could've been..kd, wb, harden, ibaka:smh::smh:they fucked it all up

Tired of deflecting blame.

You up 3-1.

Its not on the coach anymore.
NAH NIGGA
you said did they do that with no coaching and i said YES their coach is ass and has been ass for 10 years
then you come back with "tired of deflecting blame" as you tried to deflect some of the blame and put it all on him

Okc has always won because of their talent not because of anything the coaches did or didn't do they won or lost on their own individual talent PERIOD
so yes they blew a 3-1 lead and KD was a major reason why they did and also their coaching staff didn't do ANYTHING to stop them from doing it either.

Damn. This shit is real? Look. I don't hold back when talking about the Cavs, Bron, Gilbert, Love, or Irving, but this dude is the queen of bitches right here.

All the people I mentioned with the Cavs brought NE Ohio the first ring in 50 plus years, and if they are acting like bitches, I'll say it.

KD. :smh: Just. :smh::smh:

They did fuck it up with Harden.

No doubt.

But even without Harden, they had the pieces there to finish off GS and go back to the finals.

Look, i dont have a problem with KD leaving OKC. Its just not true at all that OKC didnt have the talent to win it all.
