I met this chick on a return flight to Atlanta and we started chilling.
Long story short, at one point we saw each other twice in as many weeks and both times I saw that she had threads showing on one of her tires. I told her about it... BOTH TIMES. I brought it to her attention because I had a blowout once and I lost control on 285.
Anyway, a month or so later, maybe even a few months, I' she calls me and says she's got a flat and she's on GA-400. I'm on the southside, Old National & Flat Shoals Rd, at least 40 miles away, finna get me some Zaxby's. I tell her, "aiight, I'll call you after I get something to eat".
I eat, call her afterward and she got somebody else to help her, but she said something slick. I didn't think much of it.
Two years later, we're texting and she says that we stopped hanging out, which I didn't notice since we only saw chilled every once in a while anyway, because I left her stranded. I reply with, "I left you stranded?!" then "you left yourself stranded".
For those that may need parameters we weren't fucking, in fact, that never happened because I kinda lost interest in trying to cut her. She was cool to chill with from time to time, though. You know, get a drink & talk shit to. Also, we weren't an item, we weren't anything except casual.
I told this story, with more detail to a group of about 6 women and they went all kinda bonkers. One of 'em said, "You trying to treat her like you're her daddy".
I didn't say it at the time, but after I thought about that comment, my reply would be, "No, I'm not allowing her to treat me like I'm her daddy".
Question: If the two of you were involved in an intimate relationship, would you have eaten prior to making an attempt to help her? I think she felt like you left her hanging. No woman wants to be on the side of the road waiting for someone to eat prior to coming to their rescue.
Just my thoughts.
No you didn't strand her however there are times when honesty works against you. Never tell someone in distress you were going to eat first. (Just do it!)That made her think she wasn't "that" important. Yeah it was her fault, she should've gotten the tire fixed.

You should have told her to call one of those HERO units. They change tires for free.
her fault for not gettin tire replaced
her fault for gettin sensitive cuz u made eating priority over her b/c of her stupidity
her fault 4 being selfish
her fault for thinking she is more than wut she really is
her fault for not being responsible adult
her fault 4 not having roadside asistance
your fault for allowing a weak minded bitch to even come at u with sum bullshit w/o checkin her the instant it came out of her mouth
your fault if u listen to ne1 who thinks u shouldnt hav told her u were goin eat
your fault if u feel the slightest guilt
tell that bitch the POINTS OF YOUR ARGUMENTS and if she continues to make bullshit excuses and trys to continue to place blame everywhere except towards herself then u need to cut that lil girl loose
Bro. When I look at the situation I am thinking if it's my good friend I might offer to help but tell her I was going to get something to eat first. I would tell her to try some of her other people if she couldn't wait and if that didn't work to call you back.
You did call her back to see if she got through but I don't know how long after that you called her back. She could have also called you back if she wanted you to come and come more urgently.
Now when I look at the situation from me and some of my female friends including my baby mother. They would take their sweet time to come. They would tell you all the shit they had to do first before they could get to you and they would ask you to call one of your guy freinds first. I still haven't fully come out of my bitches aint shit phase yet so I am probably the wrong guy to ask. I am usually the guy who wants to help but never get the benefits of the guy that doesn't help so sometimes I might take that into consideration depending on the girl.
You said you were interested in her at one point and I don't know why you pulled back but if it was because you felt like the guy who she would call when she needs help and not the guy wants to help. I don't know.
My question is also. Why did she call you as opposed to her other friends and where were you in the list of folks she called ?
