Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer

I guess you did an MRI and a biopsy, and they determined that radiation was not an option. Many of my friends diagnosed with prostate cancer, even with PSA # in the double digits, have opted for the radiation treatment. It is the least intrusive. Get a second opinion it maybe biased to their speciality. Remember if you go into a barber shop don't be surprised if you come out with a haircut. Wishing you all the best.
The cancer wasn't the only issue with my prostate.
It was the size.
A healthy prostate is about the size of a walnut.
Mine was the size of a grapefruit.
To put this into perspective, imagina a blown up balloon. Now imagine you putting a fist in that balloon. The fist represents the prostate and the balloon your bladder. My prostate had nowhere to grow. It was growing at an alarming rate.
Removing it was the only option.

Wise choice you made
