Dez Bryant diagnosed with hairline fracture in knee

I don't believe nothing the Cowboys are saying about this shit
I knew it was bad when they claimed he hadnt had the MRI yet. He had that shit, they were just getting a second opinion. Nigga play on that knee if he want. Shit gonna crack like a coconut and have him on that Victor Cruz two year rehab program.

He better sit the fuck down for 3 weeks.

You know they full of shit. I see Tapper was just put on IR......3 months of this shit.

I remember Miles might've been day to day his whole season.

It's all bullshit

And man that Tapper shit is disappointing

He fuck around and be like the end we drafted in 2015 Ryan Russell that was hurt all season and didn't even make the damn team this year

Yeh he needs to chill and it doesn't need to be his decision

Dez is Done... Romo-itis, every year its some injury shit with him. Was a great receiver for a season or two but now, his body is breaking down...

Sad though, he could have been one of the greats... :smh:

If you saw the way he was tackled, I think we all would suffer a hairline fracture.

Nonetheless, next man up, I hope Butler can beat the 1 on 1.

Oh Nah... his shit bent back weird as fuck... But this is one in a growing list of troubling injuries for Dez is my point tho...

What makes me upset about Russell was they hyped him up as the most impressive lineman just to get cut. I don't ever buy that shit.

Tapper measurables were crazy. I'm hoping he gets healthy just to see what he might can become but he looking like the new Matt Johnson....the greatest safety never to play lol.

Man the Eagles are about to make the damn superbowl with a rookie.

Cowboys WR Dez Bryant was no-show, led to MRI delay

FRISCO, Texas -- The MRI on Dez Bryant's injured right knee was delayed because the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was absent from Monday's treatment for injured players and Tuesday's meetings, sources confirmed.

Bryant was hurt in Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears, and injured players are required to report for treatment on Monday, even though it is the players' day off. The Cowboys had a conditioning workout and meetings on Tuesday, but Bryant was unable to get to an MRI since the team does not yet have an imaging device at its new facility.

The MRI took place Wednesday morning. Bryant was diagnosed with a hairline fracture of his tibial plateau in his right leg near the knee, according to a source.

Coach Jason Garrett refused to get into the reason for the delay when asked multiple times earlier Wednesday. Left guard La'el Collins, who suffered a sprained right big toe in Sunday's game, had his MRI performed Monday, and the Cowboys knew of a treatment plan the same day.

Players are subject to fines for missing meetings and treatment sessions.

The Cowboys are hopeful that WR Dez Bryant can play Sunday after being diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his right tibia.

"I don't want to get into the whole medical procedure," Garrett said. "We have this information now with Dez, and we're going to take his situation day by day. We'll evaluate his status for the game as the week goes on."

Garrett would not rule Bryant out of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, but a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the injury could sideline the receiver up to three weeks. Bryant did not practice Wednesday, but Garrett said the wide receiver worked out and "we're hopeful that he'll be able to play."

Bryant missed only six plays after he was injured during the second play Sunday when Bears linebacker Christian Jones dragged him down after an 11-yard gain. Bryant's knee and ankle got caught under Jones, and Bryant went to the ground before getting off the field.

He finished the game with three catches for 40 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Bryant played 52 of 68 snaps but was not on the field late in the fourth quarter as the Cowboys attempted to run out the clock.

If Bryant can't play Sunday, Brice Butler, who has one catch for 16 yards in three games, would move into the starting lineup.

Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott said Bryant's potential absence does not affect the Cowboys' plans.

"I don't really pay attention to who I'm throwing to," said Prescott, who has connected with Bryant 11 times for 150 yards and a touchdown this season. "I just go through my reads. Whoever's open gets the ball. So I mean hope [he] gets well, is well really, really soon, but it doesn't really affect this offense."

I blame Maranelli for tricking them to think he can turn shit into steak.

Shannon brought up a good point though bout Dak saying Dez's absence will not interrupt their offense.

Shit Dez has barely been seen this season anyway. With the chemistry Dak has developed with Beasley that's the Dude you don't want to see hurt. Because Dak is a rookie he hasn't had to rely on Dez to be successful so he will be fine. Truth is Beasley is the one to watch to see how this impacts his flow. Now teams can key on him more.

Exactly the point Shannon was trying to make and my concerns from a fantasy football perspective. Beasley got a lot of open looks because of teams' concerns with Dez despite the lack of chemistry he has with Dak. With Dez out, not only will more focus be placed on Beasley but the likelihood of him putting up good numbers will be reduced. Where else you gonna find a player who can put up good numbers like him but still remain in the lower tier of player roster costs on DraftKings & FanDuel

That shit is a myth from what i've been watching. Teams put a safety over the top of Dez but he's not doubled all the time like people try to elude to. Beasley is a slot receiver. If they want to focus all their attention on Witten and Beasley in the middle of the field than that's going to open things up on the outside. Terrence is a chest catcher and a tad bit slow but he has some speed on him.

We gonna miss Dez. He does some things you simply can't coach. We may lose until he comes back. But how we've been winning is controlling the clock. Bryce Butler has size and speed to take advantage if a team wants to single cover him with no safety over the top as does Terrence. I'd look for Cole Beasley and Lucky Whitehead to feast though.

Shannon over analyzing the shit out of what Dak said. All he said was basically one guy gone shouldn't stop us doing from what we've been doing. Of course they gonna miss Dez but he said the right thing. Shannon acting like he wanted him to say "Damn....Dez gone........well we're fucked now". Like he wanted him to have some defeatist attitude about it. Dez ain't out there. No crying gonna all of a sudden gonna make him healthy. Every time I watch this shit Shannon is always being overly critical of shit Dak says. He doesn't say shit about his play on the field because he can't but he goes to shit he tells reporters to try and knock him. And then you got Bayliss slurping and dick riding and shit......I guess that's the theme of show. Cowboy hater vs Cowboy dick rider.
