DC night club 'brawl' between Philadelphia Eagles cornerback and Washington Wizards forward leaves NBA player hospitalized and jobless

An NBA player and an NFL player have been accused of brawling outside of a nightclub.
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills, 25, and Washington Wizards forward Devin Robinson, 24, were both charged with disorderly affray early on Saturday in Washington DC.
Police say that the two men were involved in a verbal altercation outside of the Opera Ultra Lounge just two blocks from the White House, when the dispute escalated into a physical altercation.
Robinson was reportedly upset that a player from a team outside DC was partying at the club.

Mills is listed at six feet tall and 191 pounds. Robinson is listed at six-foot-eight and 201 pounds.
Robinson was reportedly hospitalized after the altercation.
Mills was taken to the Second District police station, where he paid $35 and was released, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Wizards did not make the playoffs, which began on Saturday.
Robinson started seven games for the Wizards this past season, in the but spent most of the season on the club's G-League developmental team. He made $77,250 for the season.
Following the alleged brawl, it does not appear he will be returning to the team next season.

'We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions. We will not extend him a qualifying offer for the 2019-20 season,' the Wizards said in a statement.
Mills was a starter in 2018 before suffering a late-season foot injury, is preparing for his fourth season with the Eagles.
Next season is the final year on his contract with the Eagles, and he is slated to make $2 million.
The Eagles said in their statement they are 'aware of the situation' and 'continuing to gather more information.'
