This was one of my favorite games.
I'm not hyped about this animation style but I'll check it out anyway. It might end up being good.

Outside of the first game, I don't believe I've played the rest of the Devil May Cry series. Overall one of the better Netflix animated/anime series. That said, I'm not attached to the lore. It isn't anything special, but it seems better than the anime series that came out and few years ago.
The only thing I thought was weird was the power scaling. From what I'm reading, fans are upset. Nothing new, but i always say an adaptation maybe a retelling of story; not necessarily a 1x1. Not saying some complaints may not be legit. I just get tired of people complaining because a scene was cut of character looking into the sky which totally takes a way from the meaning of the final fight. Again, there are times that can be very true, but usually grown ass men are crying about fictional shit that they bearly remember from their childhood.
