This was the issue city issued pagers, city issued credit cards to buy the rooms on city funded business trips. Dude been beating these brauds around here for a minute, I personally know several of them who he sent his security over to give them the mayors personal number or he would talk thru security (Actual executive on call Detroit Police Officers) who also have city funded phones. I nor anyone else ever mentioned any others chics just this issue in which he was busted 14,000 text messages c'mon dude dawg was slippin big time. While he's slipping we now have to pay for bulk trash pick up, all 12 of the police precincts got turned into about 6 Districts, The closed a ton of schools, their is no adequate parking in Detroit business districts, we are over taxed for our homes with less services. Thats why we care, the braud he fucking stay on the news here, cussing out cops getting tickets lost in the system, if u gone fuck behind ya wife back stop acting preidential and arrogant!!! Our streets are dirty as hell, thousands of abandon houses are an eyesore foreclosures, crime because the youth have nothing to do besides run from cops & I should give this ninja a pass why?

As a former teacher he can influence the educational system but does he? We have a 21% graduation rate here in the city, did he try to change it? We have the worst murder rate in the country, do u see him holding seminars, forums & rallys to discuss this problem? The city is allocated monies for this kinda shit!!! He could easily bring in Jay Z, Nas, Common to discuss our problem in an open forum since he's the Hip Hop Mayor.
This Ninja just ran to Tallahassee, FL to his vacation spot to kiss his wife for photo op's, while he missed the Mayor convention today in DC & a seminar on foreclosures here to deal with this so called BS of 6 years ago.

Those superbowls, All Star Games, Compuware, Ford Field, Comerica park, Campus Martius, Casino's were all done in principle on Archer's watch. Hate to say it but Dennis Archer was also one of the best mayor we ever had, he is the reason why the three casino are here , which created over 300 hundreds plus jobs. Dennis told most business that if you gonna open a business here you have to hire a certain amount of inner city citizens, and we wasn't in city debt when Archer was in office. Archer gave kwame a plan to keep the city out of debt when he left the office and Kwame wanted to do things his way, which got us in the deep shit we are in today.
You know this is what happens when people vote on "fashion trends" as opposed to getting a guy that is serious.
Basically Detroit got a mayor that is a "little kid" in a candy store. Or an adolescent with no direction.
You know in Chicago, we have Mayor Daley. Albeit we got all kinds of corrupt shit going on in Chicago but you know what? By the end of the day despite Mayor Daley's shannighans, I come out and have a police force protecting me even though they can be overly brutal. I know when there is a fire, a reliable fire department will put out the fire. If there is no light on my block, I can call the the City Deparments in Chicago and they will fixe in within on month. And most of all I don't have to play 300 dollars for garbage pickup.

NOW my dear kind sir that is the author of the quote above...It is absurb to assume that prior generations are not responsible for the ill will that has damaged Detroit. Afterall the social inequities the we face everyday regardless if we live in Detroit or Houston or NYC are a result of generations of psychological abuse and manovelent behavior by our white counterparts. SO IT DOES'T MATTER if the migration began in the 20's or in the 50's the ill effects of that damn plant working blue collar lifestyle have sown the seeds for the following generations to put a less emphasis on education and literacy and morality. The offspring of these migrants came up in a reality in which you could get a good job and me dumb as a fucking doorknob... and hence the problem has snowballed into a complacent population that doesn't have the wherewithal to elect a truly compentent Mayor.
SO are these previous generations partially responsible for Detroit's demise YES! Are the generations that followed YES! But the southern migrants to Detroit aren't the ONLY culprits in Detroit's demise. Read the Book !!!! and while you are at it read Detroit Divided as well.
And one last thing...stop playing the damn race card in assuming that because we have a black Mayor that is young he should be exonerated from doing stupid shit! He broke laws PERIOD... the Mayor is supposed uphold the laws of a city, state and federal government AS a lawyer he should KNOW THAT. DETROIT -- More potentially damaging evidence of perjury by Detroit's mayor has been uncovered by the Detroit Free Press just a couple of days after the paper released thousands of personal text messages between the mayor and his chief of staff.
The sexually charged messages between Kwame Kilpatrick and Christine Beatty explicitly indicated that a romantic relationship did exist between them despite their denials under oath during last summer's police whistleblower trial.
The newly released messages present evidence of more than one romantic rendezvous between Kilpatrick and Beatty, including trips to Houston, Virginia and Denver.
One exchange went like this:
Kilpatrick: "I just made my reservation."
Beatty: "You made it Denver? Leaving when and returning when?"
Kilpatrick: "Nov. 7th- 8:57 return Nov. 10th-11:25. Arrive at 4:11."
Beatty: "…Should I take the same flight?"
Kilpatrick: "Yes."
A credit card statement shows the mayor used his city credit card to reserve a $474 room at the exclusive Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, Colo.
According to the mayor's official calendar, the paper said, Nov. 7-10, 2002, was listed as "Hold for mayor gone fishing."
A text message from Beatty says the mayor asked her to perform a sexual act on him at the club. She did not, but later wrote to him that she wished she had.
Meanwhile, there have been mixed reactions from Detroit officials who spoke with Local 4 on condition of anonymity.
One official said Kilpatrick should resign, saying, "He gets a kick out of lying. He's able to do it. There's nobody above the law and as an attorney he should know better. This has consumed everything. This city has to go on. He should resign."
Another Detroit officeholder forgives the mayor, saying, "This has nothing to do with his ability to lead and move forward. There are so many spouses who cheat, but everything we do as public officials is magnified. He does need to come forward, but it's a huge blow to his self esteem."
