That is until Dallas owner Jerry Jones called, desperately seeking a back-up for Tony Romo. Detroit could hardly contain its glee, replying , "we have just the guy you need"! JON KITNA!! When kitna heard the news, he uttered, "you can't be serious? Me?"
Dallas threw in their starting CB, Anthony Henry (following another 'bonehead' move similar to overpaying (#1 draft choice) to get WR Roy Williams from the same team. (former coach, Jimmie Johnson would have never made such foolish deals). But, what's done is done.
Hopefully, Jon Kitna won't bring the legendary 'Cub factor' to Dallas, and extend their losing misery.
