Prominent Texas attorney Tony Buzbee is making some serious accusations against Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday night, Buzbee said he had filed a lawsuit against Watson in an Instagram post but did not immediately provide details pertaining to the case.

This attorney is a big deal around town, but he's also an attention-whoring clown.
This guy once had a tank parked in front of his house and threatened to sue anyone that told him to move it.
He throws a big holiday party every year. He also had a failed bid to become mayor.
I don't trust anything that comes out of his mouth.
This is clearly a smear campaign against a guy that he doesn't like because he wants out of town.

What fuckin lawyer takes to social media to announce a case? :smh:

Somebody up in NEW ENGLAND must be available...

I swear this team has no identity of its own.
At first we were the Houston Broncos with Kubiak and all the Denver guys and schemes we ran, now we're becoming the Houston Patriots.

This is a sad organization that needs to go. The only good thing about the Texans is the tailgating in the parking lot. THAT'S where all the action is.

Miami coach Brian Flores is available now.

Guess where he got his start?
NEW ENGLAND

Texans GM (also a former NEW ENGLAND guy) and Flores are very close friends. The rumors are that Flores is the front runner for this job, he's already interviewed and it's only a matter of time before a contract is offered and an announcement made.

This also could potentially signal the return of Watson. Why did he REALLY want out, because this brings the coach he was going to play for TO HIM.

They interviewed Flores yesterday. But I doubt this will help them with Deshaun since his issues appear to be with ownership and not coaching.

Except the part where, when Flores was asked about the dolphins potentially trading for Watson in August, he said they wanted people with "high character."

Flores better not sign with Houston after the shit they pulled on the last black coach

Foh they fired him for no reason

actually its looking like the fired him in order to attempt to hire Flores
Which they believe will allow them to keep Watson.
Flores was the main guy in Miami trying to trade for Watson
If that's their plan then it makes sense to me

if you have an arguably top 5 QB (Watson) wouldn't you fire a coach in order to keep him.
Most teams would imo
First of all they didn't know if Flores would choose them

They don't know if Watson coming back to them regardless they thought the same thing by hiring the last black coach

No it's not worth it he's gone no matter who coaches the team

Them thinking this would work just shows why he's not coming back and why Flores should chose another place

Show me something that Flores said about Watson other than this?

I've never seen anything online that would allude to Brian Flores wanting him.

I'm not saying its a good plan or will work. But if there is a posiblity of keeping Watson, many teams would easily fire a 4-13 coach to keep a franchise QB

Here you go

Former Dolphins coach Brian Flores is being viewed as the strong favorite to take over the Houston Texans by numerous coaches and general managers involved in this hiring cycle. Flores interviewed with the Texans on Friday and there is a strong anticipation that a deal with Houston could come together very quickly.

The Texans did not fire head coach David Culley until late in the week, and did so after Flores was let go in a move that did surprise some in the coaching market. Flores has strong ties to Texans general manager Nick Caserio and executive Jack Easterby -- all have Patriots roots -- with Flores and Caserio working together as scouts. Flores initially joined the Patriots as a scouting assistant in 2004, at age 23, moved up to a pro scout in 2006 and moved over to Bill Belichick's coaching staff in 2008. Caserio arrived in New England in 2001 as a personnel assistant, and was an area scout at the time Flores arrived, and moved up the ranks there to lead the personnel department before leaving to take over the Texans a year ago.

Flores won eight of his final nine games with the Dolphins this season and had the team alive for a potential playoff spot within the final two weeks the past two seasons. Among the general managers who know Caserio well, many believe that Flores becoming available was key to the Texans moving on from Culley -- who was always viewed as a stopgap -- and leading Caserio to pursue a younger coach who could shepherd the franchise through its rebuild. Furthermore, it was widely known that disgruntled Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was a fan of Flores -- Miami explored trading for Watson throughout his lost 2021 season while facing numerous allegations of sexual misconduct or sexual assault -- which would undoubtedly be a factor in this coaching search as well.

"I'm telling you, Nick is going to come out of this looking like a genius," said one high-ranking NFL exec who knows Caserio well. "He and Flores go way back. That is a perfect fit. And, it's going to help him keep that quarterback. Just watch. He doesn't have to trade him, he can ask for the moon, and Flores could help rebuild the relationships in the meantime. It just makes too much sense."

Another GM said: "That looks like a no-brainer to me. Who would Nick hire before him? They already have a relationship. There's trust there."

The Texans will certainly reach out to other candidates, and Patriots inside linebackers coach Jerod Mayo will also merit consideration. But with Flores interviewing with the Bears on Friday and other teams interested as well, it would not surprise many involved in this hiring cycle if the Texans made a concerted push to secure Flores by early next week.

Culley was hired to be fired. He was never qualified for the job, had ZERO coordinator experience at a pro or NCAA level, and wasn't even allowed to hire his own staff. He was clearly a placeholder. And now he gets to retire rich AF. He didn't even do any real "coaching". He was more of a motivator than anything else. He'll be fine. Save your tears for someone who's actually worthy. He ain't.

exactly
he was a stopgap. fire him, hire flores, and hope Watson stays and clears up his legal issues. its pretty clear what Houston's plan is

Exactly why Flores shouldn't choose there he's hot right now. Tears over here buddy i think it's a bullshit organization I remember what the owner said about ppl taking a knee. Happy Watson not going back jokes on them

He's a star quarterback that had absolutely zero say so in their coaching hire. In any sport where a single player can greatly impact a team's win/loss record you have to take into consideration the star player's opinion or run the risk of that star player wanting out. So Watson being upset with ownership is justified and warranted. But, I do not think it's something that can't be fixed if the team begins making moves that are more in line with his wants.

If he wants Flores and they get him, it could be an ice breaker for the two sides.
