He will just have to go through an immense grueling rehab. If does all the right things and do not try to rush through the process he should be ok because he has youth on his side. He will lose some explosion especially with the dunking/first step aspect of his game, but this will force him to pick his spots now and become more of a true PG. Just hate to see that happen to the kid and the way it happened with the game already in the bag.

Like an Achilles injury contact or style of play has nothing to do with it. Baron Davis tore his in college without being touched by another player. He just landed akwardly after dunking the ball. And he came back pretty damn well. Medical science and Rose's age will hopefully lead to a full recovery.

Why will the Knicks be better? Amare and Carmelo still struggle playing together, they're capped out and J.R. Smith might not be back.
Another year of playing together, tweaking the system. Somebodies just gonna have to bite the bullet between Melo, and Amare as to whos stats get blown. A healthy Lin(I dont think hes great, but hes decent) Shump a year better... They cant help but be better with so much talent...
Jordan broke his foot and he didn't sit out the whole season. He was back for the playoffs as that was the year that he dropped 63 on the Celtics.
As a Bulls fan this is the worst news to come home to. The beauty of the team is their depth. Thing is the playoffs are a different animal and there is more rest between games than there were during the regular season. I think that they can still do well but Indiana was competitive with the Bulls even with Rose so that's an issue and beating Miami 4 times is going to be a bitch for anybody. Rip and Boozer are really going to have to step up offensively for the team to be successful during these playoffs.
Beatdown point does have some merit to it. Rose called out the Bulls medical staff last week. Also I remember back in January I made the thread where he warn the Bulls he would not be 100 percent this season.

JR is addition by subtraction. Hes athletic, has a decent J when he gets hot, but his Bball IQ is soooo fuckin low. As for Novak and Baron... Baron saved their asses late this season, but Im sure theyll let him walk and draft a backup PG, and/or Shump can always run it in a pinch. Novak is a great knockdown shooter, but I can easily see Landry Fields playing his role to a lesser extent next season. IMO if they keep Woodson, work hard on complimenting each other, add something over the summer I dont see why they cant be up there with MIA, Chicago next year.
