Peru's over 65 population is 8.7% but it leads the world in the number of covid deaths
per 1 million of its people. Please explain why this number is higher that of Sweden
where the over 65 is more than 20% of the population. Equally, Brazil's over 65 ratio
is 9.7% which less than half that of Sweden, and yet it has had more deaths per 1million

Aaaaah and this research was done where, with the prevalence of what strain?
This is easy to dismiss because Covid requires high levels medical care in its' most
serious stage. The people in India who were dying for the lack of oxygen do not
represent the same category as the Americans dying on expensive ventilators,
laden with all sorts of experimental drugs. That number has no meaning without
attendant context.

Speculation is by definition unscientific. The two do not belong in the same
sentence since science is by definition based on evidence and proof.

The reason why people in Zambia, and Africa in general, have proved resilient
to Covid is that their immune system is stronger. These are people who have
been exposed to viruses, bacterium etc etc. They are hardy people who go
through annual battles with malaria, which afflicts practically everyone. The
climate is also dry and hot, which generally does not conduce to the spread
of covid.
