Democrats Deliberately Hold Black Children Down

Yes I oppose to it.

The stories I've heard FROM people that came from Great Britain. They told me stories on how when the government provide universal health care, all of a sudden, someone in an office building can tell you if you can/can't have certain treatments.
Just curious, (1) did you meet those people, in person; (2) did YOU veryify their claims; and, (3) will you please post that verification, here ???

Our health care today is good because we choose to have what we want to have. In most cases, the working person pays *ie benefits* for what they want.
Assuming its good, as you say; is it good for those "working people" whose employers don't/won't offer it to them and for those working stiffs who work the low pay jobs (trying to be good Americans and support their families) who otherwise can't afford to purchase health insurance ???

Too bad for them ???

As soon as universal health care takes place, the system that has been noted to be so flawed, becomes worst than it is right now.
You got me here.

 • Just above you were "wondering" what would happen to the medical industry if universal healthcare came to be, because you didn't "KNOW" what it would do.

 • But now, just minutes after you were wondering; you are so sure. LOL.

You are one quick study.

I don't know about you, but I do not want to have to talk to anyone about an illness other than my doctor.
LOL. I can see you now (presently): walk into the doctors office; one nurse greets you and later another wants to take your vitals and get some background information on why you're there, and you say, "I'm only talking to the doctor."

Do I have that right ???

What I fail to understand is how anyone in their right mind can believe that politicians give a fuck about anything other than their careers and lining their pockets.
Politicians come from wealthy families and how can someone that was born with a silver spoon in their mouth truly relate to and represent those who don't have a pot to piss in?
Even if their intentions are good, how would they truly understand what it's like to struggle unless the have walked a mile in those shoes?

It's business not personal.........well to them anyway.

40 to 50 million Americans uninsured, people going bankrupt if they need catastrophic medical attention and the most expensive health care system in the world and he is worrying about the extreme few complains from Great Britain. I tell you, you people are wasting your time debating ass. His statements are verbatim from the right wing media types. You know he knows little about the subjects and I very well doubt that he even knows anyone from Great Britain, much less discusses health care with them!

can I have an exact number first?

BTW, you do know that the EU *an organization Great Britain is apart of* is going more conservative as we speak? That's the home of universal health care...

Another thing, I rather talk to someone who LIVED through universal health care than people that think they know how it suppose to be.

BTW, isn't this article about SCHOOL VOUCHERS? I guess I won that argument huh VEGAS?!?!

1. yes I met them in person, they actually became a naturalize citizen. No, I would not post their real names on a fucking PORN board. Are you crazy? They happen to be some good friends of mine.

2. I believe most companies would actually provide health care if the market place allows them too. The only thing the government can do is to give more incentives for businesses to provide health care *ie tax breaks*. That would work better than the government getting into the health care business.

3. The real question is this, what if no one wants the health care funded by the government? Government tends to regulate their competition to push it's own agenda. Not to mention the rationing that would take place.

4. Don't patronize me first of all. Of course I would talk to the nurse, or whatever. I was really meaning the bureaucrat that would control what type of treatment I would have to have. That's the person I do not want to talk to.

But, you didn't answer my questions . . . .

There you go..... Now tell vegas to answer my question.

BTW, do you think taking the voucher program is right? Why?

Actin,

You ducked part of the first question: you didn't tell us how you "verified" the Brit's claims. That is, how did you determine that the stories the one or two people you say you met (great sample BTW) actually represented a true picture of the British healthcare system ??? And, you do know that simply because a person is from a particular place, does not mean that the person has a clue -- right?

" I believe most companies would actually provide health care if . . ." -- I'm impressed by your confidence that most companies don't put profit over the interests of their needy subjects. I'm also impressed with your view that the American taxpayers should protect those companies' "profit interest" by yet another subsidy to get them to do the right thing. I've read your arguments before where you urge more tax breaks -- but what I keep missing is why haven't your "Trusted Companies" done the right thing with the multitude of tax incentives and breaks they've already received ???

Perhaps, your corporate/business welfare recipients are no less blood suckers than the individual recipients that people rail against? No?

I thought it was interesting how you didn't know what universal healthcare would do to the medical industry in Post 32; but in Post 34 you suddenly had the answer; and in Post 39 you tell us you had the answer for the longest (because your British friends have been here long enough to become naturalized citizens; thats not an overnight process in the rest of the 47 contiguous -- but like everything else, thats probably different in Texas).

You're not just making up facts to support your opinions as you go along, are you?

"Don't patronize me first of all." -- And secondly, don't insult our intelligence with the talking points.

"BTW, do you think taking the voucher program is right? Why?" -- I haven't sufficiently studied the matter to have an opinion.

You may counter these figures. Give references! I say these numbers are accurate.

Don’t get too excited about the talking points the RNC laid out to you. The EU is experiencing an immigration problem, just as we are. The recent EU shift toward the right the right can be interpreted as response to that. Their economy is still to the left of ours, and they are not clamoring to move toward our massive profit based health care system. Again, know your subject.

You need to talk to people who still live in GB. They tell me that their system is not perfect, but it serves the vast majority of the people better than our system.

School vouchers suck. Using public money to fund private schools.

ass, you do that anyway. How do you get insurance companies to file a claim without describing you illness to them? And once you do have a previous illness, it is more difficult file future claims. You live at home with your parents don’t you?

I find it funny that this whole thread was about school vouchers, yet with the help of QUE *our supposedly "objective" super-moderator*, thought, and vegas we have successfully made this topic about Universal Health Care. I take it that no one can explain to me HOW ending this school voucher program is going to help kids in the inner cities? Oh yea, I bet ya'll would say "well obama wants to revamp the public school system". Yea, just like the cash for clunkers program huh?

Whats up GOP Cheerleader ??? Lay down your pom poms; these issues might be more complex than your "Rah, Rah, they got the ball lets take it away" mentality.

BTW, glad you "accidentally" included yourself among those who drifted off topic. I know you didn't intend to, but it was you at post #32 who actually helped change the discussion to healthcare.

ok, how many times have I tried to get back on subject?

You, as the objective moderator you are...., should of said "hey lets get back on subject. This thread is about school vouchers not universal health care." Well, I guess you lost your "objective card" on this thread huh?

Now you go into "well you contribute in this" argument. Wow, que, that's so mature of you. On that post, I said ONE line about universal health care, than I turn around and said "can someone please answer the school voucher's program question?" Yet, you, thought, vegas, and whoever kept on about Universal Health care. Are you ready to admit that you are not so objective like you want everyone to believe?

If I had said it he would of hidden in his "liberal" rhetoric.

Oh well, I guess we won't talk about the original subject.

Well, this is what I'm going to do. Since, no one wants to debate the school voucher program, I'm going to assume pretty much that the left do not care about getting quality education to urban communities. I'm going to also assume that Obama do not care about urban communities as a whole. He only cares about saying the right stuff to make all of his supports wet in the crouch because he is black dude saying the right stuff. In fact, I'm going to assume that, in most of this boards eyes, he can't do anything wrong, EVER. So, how can I debate someone who is so obsessed with a man they don't know, or probably met outside of a campaign rally?

I also realize that, with all the links being posted, many of the posters really do not understand shit that's going on. There's a term for that. It's called "the useful idiot". The "Useful Idiot" is the fool that follow words instead of action. The "Useful Idiot" only wants a person to try, and find reasons why the person can't succeed. The "Useful Idiot" needs enemies to further their political ambitions, even if that enemy is their own country. *yea that goes both ways...* The "Useful Idiot" loves his/her enemy more than his/her friends. The "Useful Idiot" uses emotion instead of logic. I don't have time to argue with useful idiots only because its pointless. When they are losing, they go into name calling. Some will say "well you call him a liberal". So why me calling a person what they are, a bad thing? Hell, I'm conservative! I don't give a rats ass who don't like it, or not. Yet, me calling ANYONE on here a liberal is a bad thing?

BTW, Mr. Objective, did you vote last election?

:D not at all. But you are familiar with the term "wingnut" and who uses it right?

How would you describe the person defending this claim and their resultant "exposure?"

Opinions are opinions, but some times you have to call a spade a spade. If I’m wrong correct me, but this was just a long line of their obtuse thinking.

Personally, I think you are full of shit. However, before I really say whats on my mind, I'm going to let you make it. I've been going through a lot of shit this week, and right now isn't the best time for me to speak my mind. You can keep bumping my threads up. I really don't give a fuck. Just remember this, I have a mentality that I will always win in the long run. The things I said on my posts are happening one way, or the other. Hell, one of my biggest predictions might be happening as we speak. I bet you won't give me that credit. Better yet, you will do the THOUGHT way, and say that I want this country to fail. The only thing I want to fail is stupidity in congress, and that's bipartisan.

ok, WTF DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE TOPIC?

BUSH IS OUT OF OFFICE.

Hell, make an arrest on Bush. Right now! Lets see how long that trial will last.

BTW, thought, ignore everything Obama is doing because, well, Obama will never do bad as Bush right? I mean, Bush was the devil, and Obama is here to right all of Bush's wrongs right? So, yea thought, waste time on an Ex-president.

Oh yea, whats up with Obama cutting the School Voucher program? What are your THOUGHTS about that?

Bro, if you're having a bad time, seriously, you have my empathy.

On the other hand, if you are, maybe you want to step back for a minute, deal with whatever it is, and step back in when you're ready. I wouldn't (and don't suggest that you do either) lay out my personal problems on the internet.

As far as your predictions, I'll await another time to tell you what I think of them. I'm not much for kicking a man, when he's down.

What is hyper hypocritical about the voucher GOP wedge issue is that the same people that want so called school choice for Black children are the exact same people that don’t want universal health care. Exposes the flaw in their divisive argument.

If better education was offered to students, maybe that would slow the tide of dependents on government programs. Of course, that plan do not happen overnight like you would like Thought. BTW, do we not have some of the best medical facilities in the world? I wonder what universal health care would do to our medical industry?

BTW, isn't this article about SCHOOL VOUCHERS? I guess I won that argument huh VEGAS?!?!

Ass, I answered that question at the top of this thread. READ DAMN IT! You never answered my direct statement. You favor government, taxpayer funded vouchers to help students attend private schools (socialism), because you think that competition from the so called private sector will keep the public schools honest. Well, what are you afraid of the government funded health insurance as an option offered to the public to keep the private health insurance firms honest? If you, Lamarr and the like say the government can’t do anything right and the private sector is better, than what are you afraid of? For your side, the argument should be a win, win!

Ok, with all the bullshit that's been posted, I probably missed that.

However, the problem I have with the universal health care situation is that our private care has worked for over 200 years. Many health benefits have been discovered within our borders. The school voucher program is the exact opposite situation. Do you understand? I want public schools to be more private, and I want the private health care to stay private.

Using taxpayer's money for it is not socialism for this reason only. If you're a parent with a student that attends a lower tier school district, and you pay taxes for that school district. Essentially, with the school voucher program, that parent basically getting his/her's money worth in better education for their child. Instead, of rewarding a lower tier school district. BTW, socialism do not give anyone the choice of anything. Only because Socialism only cares about the group, not the individual.
